Pros: We stayed there for four nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also very efficient. Breakfast was nice enough. The location was good and the room was large. We enjoyed our stay!

Pros: A suite on special offer provides exceptional value, and an inbuilt kitchen offers the option for self catering. The location is some distance from the main sights and transport hub, but nearer the shopping/business district. This means a bit more travelling to see the sights but very convenient dining and shopping. Palermo is a boisterous, noisy city, but the hotel is on a quiet side street just off of the Via Roma, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed.

Pros: The staff knew their stuff and were always willing to help. How clean the hotel was at all times. The breakfast was very very good!

Pros: Great and very central location, clean and new both in the rooms and the common areas, tasteful and functional decoration (but not cold or without character). Good breakfast, at least for general Italian standards (that is, do not expect a huge buffet but it is also not the regular croissant - jam - coffee kind of minimal Italian breakfast).

Pros: The Bye Bye Blues restaurant was absolutely outstanding and a wonderful surprise. We did not expect to find a restaurant of such a high standing in Palermo. Also being a coeliac I was very impressed to find that there was gluten free bread for me at breakfast and at dinner. Excellent service. Also the bathrooms were fabulous with magnificent large shower heads which gave the best shower.

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful at Quintocanto. Alitalia lost our bags and the hotel staff tracked them down for us and made sure they were there before our departure (trust me, it didn't look promising). In the meantime, my wife and I had an excuse to enjoy the shopping in the area and relaxed with an excellent massage in the spa. The prices are reasonable, the location is excellent, and the service is even better.

Pros: I like its central location, its parking service, and its looks.

Pros: After booking at an already competitive rate, I was delighted to get an upgrade (late August, city centres in Italy are devoid of italians/business travellers so hotels have more availability) and it was a room at the back so very quiet and overlooking the roof of a big church and just wonderful. Their restaurant was also the one which served us the best meal of the whole week in Sicily and the staff were helpful with choices of wine and food. Hotel staff also recommended us a local car rental which proved in turn to be very competitively priced and helpful too. Oh and it couldn't have been more central.

Pros: The room was beautiful though absolutely no view.Bathroom was like a spa. Sheets and bed were wonderful. Decor was far more elegant than expected. Spa also is beautiful.

Pros: The hotel is just off the main road, 30 seconds from the bus stop and well signed posted. The rooms are spacious and our balcony was facing the sun. Check out time was excellent 12pm

Pros: I got a good promotion. My room was upgraded (two singles instead of one twin). The hotel is well located. I got a very good recommendation for a restaurant from the staff.

Pros: It is a perfect hotel for a weekend trip. The breakfasts are famous, the heartbeat of the city is well felt in this hotel.

Our room was lovely, small fridge, very nicely appointed. Great location for exploring the markets, port and other important sites in old Palermo.

Pros: It is situated just opposite the dock of the ferries we arrived on. The hotel staff was very forthcoming. The hotel restaurant on the top floor gives a superb view of the harbour. We had a spacious 4 bed room.

Pros: Our room included a small balcony featuring a fantastic view of the downtown area, Mount Peligrino, and a peek of the Port. Mossimo very kindly produced a platter of ham, vegetables and fruit for us one evening when my daughter and husband were feeling ill and weren't up to going out to eat.

Pros: Cristal Palace Hotel is a great hotel in the center of Palermo with a walking distance from main shoping streets. Also it's easy to reach Mondello beach (bus stop is very very near) and city bus to Palermo airport is just near to the hotel. Airport shuttle is also a great thing that is available in the hotel. Staff is doing excellent job, they are all very kind and professional. Kitchen and restaurant in hotel is great as well. I'm happy to recommend this hotel.
