Cons (-) Everything. Had to hang window curtain myself after finding it balled up on the floor. Room not clean. Hole in wall for shower head. Dry wall shavings all over floor.
Cons (-) The Economy Inn Ocean View Naval Base would have to be described as the very definition of a dump. Not that one expects a lot from the Economy Inn but even by their desperate standards this place must take the prize for being bottom of the barrel. Pros (+) Vince and Carol, the new couple that manages the location, were friendly and helpful. They have made efforts to improve the clientele and reputation of the location.
Cons (-) As soon as I checked in there were flies in the room. Sink area was dirty from a previous customer (snot on the mirror, body hair in the faucet), toilet wouldn't flush well and the air conditioning unit was extremely loud and made it difficult to get a restful night of sleep.
