Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby

Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub.This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also,our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim.All in all,This hotel needs revamping.On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.

Pros: Wonderful wonderful staff and location location location. The rooms were well appointed and in a style that suited the hotel. The balcony was a great place to get a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were larger then most European hotel rooms and air conditioned which made it very comfortable in the August heat. The public areas and dining rooms were very comfortable and charming. Good business center with easy access.

Pros: We were here just for a week. Hotel is located centrally right across from the beach. Rooms are very specious with luxuries beds. Dinner experience at the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. Just one small issue - we did not get city center view as the website promised. Balconies were facing each other with no privacy.

Pros: Room was nice, plenty of space for our family of four, beds were comfortable. It's close to the train station and a very short walk to the beach/water, and the main street with shopping and restaurants. Couldn't have been a better location and the neighborhood was quiet.

Pros: It was good. The hotel is a budget hotel, with really small rooms (as are in all of France) which are really clean. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The cafe next door has with good coffee and croissants (that's all I had..) and nice waiters. Also, the area around the hotel is great, a block from the train station and a 10 min walk from the center.

Pros: Was upgraded on arrival to a renovated room. Room was lovely. The location of this hotel is excellent- minutes to the beach, market, etc, beside the shops and has the tram in front. Has the rooftop bar has best views in Nice.

Pros: The staff were very pleasant and helpful, breakfasts were good and breakfast staff were excellent, they couldn't do too much for you. Rooms were clean. Ideal for shopping and business alike.

Availability of computer in the lobby for internet use was very helpful for re-booking flights and trains given the train/plane cancellations caused by the strikes. Meant we didnt have to go out and search for an internet cafe to access the net. Not everyone carries a laptop/ I pad with them so having a computer to access on site was very useful!
