Pros: There was a two hour blackout and the emergency lights never went on. I complained about that. I was told that they were working on it. The next night there was twenty minute blackout and the emergency lights were working.
Cons: There should be a system to contact everyone to reassure them that everything is alright during a blackout.

Pros: I love their comforter and pillows so much, that I remembered to stay there again, even though the last time I stayed was maybe 12-13 years ago. This despite the fact that I've tried 4 Seasons and other luxury hotels. This is the only one that left an impression. Great restaurant - tried it for dinner and breakfast. The only negative is the (free) WIFI - connection was difficult, convoluted, and unreliable.

Pros: Small and quiet. Boutique feel. Very good service. Hotel restaurant was better than I expected, given the yelp reviews. The room was very clean, had classical music playing. Wifi was fast and responsive. Exchange rates made this place very affordable.
Cons: Construction on the building next door - more of a pain to walk around did not cause extra noise. Service may have been *too* over the top. They'd call every day to make sure I didn't want housekeeping, even though the tag was on the door. Had to redo wifi every 24 hours.

Pros: Housekeeping staff and concierge were nice and helpful.
Cons: Food was blah and exorbitantly priced. Salads for two: over $50; breakfast buffet for two: over $50. What a complete waste of money! Save yourself time and money and grab a quick bite in the cafe a few shops down the hall or better yet at an outdoor cafe. The front desk staff were rude. when I checked in, I was told I had booked a king (needed a double), and that I was lucky they weren't sold out, so he was able to give me a room with a double (after sufficient attitude was delivered my way). I later found my confirmation email that clearly stated "deluxe double room". If I can find an alternate, clean hotel, I won't stay here again.

Pros: Décor was beautiful, room was fresh and bedding rich and comfy. Double beds in both rooms with connecting door for our convenience. Front desk quick and helpful, room service rushed breakfast for my diabetic mother in law, and the concierge was very helpful. Loved everything about the staff and hotel which was right across the street from two glorious old churches and a park within w3alking distance of liqueur stores and fantastic shopping and the Via train station and the rail system in our hotel. We will be back!!
Cons: The mini bar was not very cold and would not re lock to keep closed all the way, but not a big as problem as we brought a small cooler for meds and diabetic snacks .Food was good in hotel but pricy. Try Ikanos for a really heavenly dinner, also very expensive but worth it as was the hotel food if your tired and hungry like us!! Great hotel!!!!!

Pros: Our two year old loved the pool, and the elevators in this 36 story hotel. The views were spectacular, staff was courteous, and location was convent,

Pros: Clean rooms and great location for Montréal.
Cons: No hottub, also the staff didn't serve our request for double beds even though we booked two double beds. They came up with a story how they are sorry and that it's not available even though we booked it. No refund or anything was given either. Be careful what you pay - we paid extra for double beds and didn't get them.

Pros: Our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Although we had heard some concerns about night time noise, the hotel was quiet during our stay. The pool was lovely as ever, and a hot tub has been added since our last stay. The water temperature was just right in both pool and hot tub. Lockers for your clothes are free. The exercise room is nice. The duck pond was fun to watch.
Cons: A hotel the size of the Bonaventure could really use three hot tubs, especially since (unlike many hotels) the pool is so popular. We thought the hotel restaurants were a little expensive, although there are some reasonable dining options in the levels below Place Bonaventure. The carpeting in the hallways looks very worn, but on closer inspection, it's the pattern.

Pros: The Bonaventure is a rather unusual hotel, built in a very late 20th century modern style on the top 2 floors of an office/convention center building. Its rooms are laid out in a ring, surrounding a center lobby area with a bar and restaurant, year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub, and a pond with ducks. Rooms are sleek and modern in a 1960-70s way, but comfortable and updated with firm beds and very nicely sized bathrooms. The rooms are very quiet, The ring layout means that there is minimal hallway noise and the hotel is high enough and with thick enough windows that there is almost no street noise (and many rooms face inner courtyards instead of the street). Staff and service are friendly and efficient, without being intrusive. Bonaventure isn't super-deluxe, but it is a welcoming, calming, and unique experience.
Cons: The only things I can think of is that the walk to the rooms can be a little long, due to the unusual layout and the fact that there are only 2 elevators between the street level and the lobby on the 10th floor. And guests should be aware that there will be short stairways between the lobby area and the hallways for the rooms. The drain in our tub was quite slow, but we let management know and they said the situation would be fixed before the next guest came. There is not a lot going on in the immediate area around the hotel, particularly at night (but there is a large train station across the street with multiple food options, including late fast food and a 24 hour Tim Horton's, and hotel is connected through convention center to underground passages and Metro station).

Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, great maid-service, comfortable bed. Nice, spacious work-out facility, free newspaper. Great location for getting onto the metro. Definitely, it would be a good place, I can imagine, to stay in, during a winter visit.
Cons: Pricey buffet. Didn't eat there because of cost. 25 dollars per person. Wifi only worked well in the closet or bathroom locations, in our room. The exterior and interior of the hotel are concrete. So, at first I had a feeling of being incarcerated. However, I adjusted and realized many buildings Montreal are similarly constructed.

Pros: The concierge was amazing. He gave great advice and made our restaurant reservations. Definitely will use the service of a concierge in my future travels. Loved the room style and décor, very modern. The room we had was pretty big and had a cute balcony, though I wish there were a couple of chairs out there to be able sit.
Cons: The breakfast is not worth it for the price they charge. Go outside the hotel to St. Catherine's. We found a great place where we got to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. Also getting a drink at the bar is way too costly for the amount of liquor you receive. The housekeeping staff I would say is kind of slow at cleaning. We left the hotel room at 9am and returned at 4:30pm. Our room was still not cleaned. I ended up just asking for fresh towels. We were relaxing and getting ready for the evening when we received a note underneath our door saying that if we were leaving by 6pm they would still clean our room. At least they did leave a note.

Pros: Delta Montreal was only about 2-3 blocks from the Metro, which was pretty convenient. Staff was pretty helpful the few times I asked them about things. The room was pretty large - it looks just like the photos online (when I saw it online I was convinced the pictures were of a suite, but most regular rooms are actually that enormous!). The beds were super comfortable. The hotel was overall very clean. Since there were 3 elevators I never had to wait long. The smart desk was really cool, though we never made use of it. I also never used the gym and pool, so I can't attest to their quality.
Cons: If you want to spend time in Old Montreal, it's a bit of a hike on foot (though that isn't the hotel's fault). The room could have used more drawer space (there was only 1 drawer available).

Pros: montreal @ table restaurant promotions in city for week, Delta menu special was very very good and excellent value hotel taught me how important it is to pack and wear 5 layers of clothing to try to keep warm i n room. hotel reinforced how useless it is to try to communicate with staff member who does not listen to nor process info Taught me again , price may seem good, the devil is in the details.
Cons: room was cold cold cold even after maintenance came to room twice and said it was remedied. Their green policy switches to AC [in November] and takes room to 64 on thermostat and I suspect it is really less than 64 [18c].they offered to change the room but I had papers all sorted & spread out in work mode and people who were to phone me had room # also, message light flashed continuously front desk alerted in aft, and at nite the young woman just did not would not [could not?] listen or do anything positive.

Pros: Room and location
Cons: A day prior to check in date,we stop to inquire about dropping baggage policy and was informed that we had an extra room reserved and Frederick (front desk) contacted Alexia of Kayak trying to cancel wrongly extra room. After their phone conversation,Frederick ASSURED me that the problem had been taken care of. There was another female employee that witness Frederick statement as well as my wife. next day, Saturday May 19, while checking in I was informed that the extra room reservation was NEVER cancelled. From the room I contacted by phone KAYAK representative CATHY whom showed extremely poor customer service, indifferent attitude and verbally aggressive tone. Being this my first Kayak experience I really expected better results from all involved. I expect your reply.

Pros: They worked with us to resolve an issue at check-in
Cons: There were two big issues at check-in even though we had a confirmation email: they did not have us staying the full amount of time and they did not have our king bed. Wendy at the Libby check-in counter said she could not do anything since they were fully booked. We asked do a manger and she went to talk with him and came back with a miracle, she got us the right room and fixed the departure date. Amazing how a hotel can go from fully booked to rooms available, especially since we had a "club room with a kink bed", hmmmm The hope tel rooms are dated, the varnish is flaky king off the furniture and bathroom fixtures. The food is so-so for a hotel of this class... it was not worth the money.

Pros: The hotel looked much nicer online . The room was clean and the location is just alright.
Cons: The noise was awful you can hear everything in the hall. I could even hear my neighbors phone ringing a ton. The AC units were extremely loud and the water pressure in the bathroom would drop making a hissing/squeaking noise after use. Another pet peeve is no fan in the bathroom and the doors have glass on them so when you turn the light on at night you could potentially be waking up your partner or anyone else with you. The parking garage underground is tight and super low, my Jeep Wrangler almost didn't make the height clearance. Wasn't impressed one bit by this hotel very over rated.

Pros: Affordable choice in downtown, and beds are very comfortable. Hotel staff called around for us on Easter Sunday to see which restaurants would be open before sending us out.
Cons: Normally I love the hot tub at this Sheraton. Unfortunately during our stay it was out of order, which is a huge bummer. Not that it will make or break a trip, but when you're deciding between a few hotels in the area at the same price point and allowed that to influence your decision a little, it's a letdown. Also, this is 2015 - who charges for WiFi?
"Located in Ville-Marie, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Sainte-Catherine Street, The Underground City and Complexe Desjardins. Notre Dame Basilica and Old Port of Montreal are also within 15 minutes. Champ-de-Mars Station is 5 minutes by foot and Saint Laurent Station is 6 minutes. "

Pros: Hotel really needs some attention. The lobby is not welcoming and the stairs leading up to the hotel are uneven and slanted. The rooms are an excellent stay for families . Kitchen is great. Just really needs a bit of updating really. Breakfast is good as well and close to old montreal which is great for walking.

Pros: The service was A+!! They were so speedy to help in any way possible. Super helpful and polite and quick to jump in for any need. They were fluent in French and English and always helped with a smile. We felt very welcomed and were greeted with a hello and goodbye each time we passed the front desk. The room was incredibly comfortable for the two of us up on the penthouse floor. We loved the bed and the view!
Cons: We had a room that connected to two other rooms. When we had single people connected to us, we couldn't hear them. When we had a family with kids next door, we heard them talking and laughing and screaming. The room was NOT soundproof with the connecting door. This did not hinder our ability to sleep, though, as everyone went quiet at night.
"Located in Côte-Des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-De-Grâce, this hotel is within 3 miles (5 km) of Saint Joseph's Oratory, University of Montreal and Mount Royal Park. Sainte-Catherine Street and Jarry Park are also within 6 miles (10 km). Namur Station is only a 4-minute walk and De la Savane Station is 8 minutes. "
