Cons: Iron didn't work. Vanity mirror didn't work. One request from staff wasn't filled. No microwave.

Cons: Parking 16$ extra per night! (Hidden cost) pool not heated and small. Did not like outlet mall being attached to hotel.

Cons: The pictures of the hotel online did not match the actual hotel. The hotel was a lot older looking than it appeared online.

Cons: Room i was confir.ed with kayak was not available. Required a double and she kept insisting i take a king. Showed her my email.. the she found a room on the underground floor.. that had double veds.. after much hassle. Then after we checked out.. we went bac 2 hrs later to retreive a forgotton jacket and it was missing. Cleaning staff didnt find it.. it was specifically lEft in the clost. Only way it could have dissappeares was if someone took it .

Cons: The hotel lobby is still under construction which was noisy and smelly. I wish I would have been notified of this BEFORE I booked my room. I would not have stayed there had I known.

Cons: The couches were uncomfortable. And the cleaning group never cleaned our room and we had a plate and we set it outside the room like we saw others doing and ours was the only one who didn't get picked up.

Cons: I received a message from the BonVoy app at 10am in the morning saying my room was ready. When I arrived at 1pm, the front desk staff told me my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait a few hours. Ridiculous! They weren't even apologetic. I was told I'd receive a text message when the room was ready. At 5pm, I still hadn't received a text message but returned to the hotel to demand a room be assigned to me. I was told that the room had been ready for a while (?!?!). When I told them I didn't get a text message and reminded them that I had effectively waited seven hours for my room to be readied, they were again unapologetic and merely assigned me a room.

Cons: My room smelled like mold.

Cons: Dated in its amenities. For example, checking in late evening, only limited room service is available, and no wine or beer offered. Internet service is not free. Exercise room was limiter. Least favorite thing was the view of the office building next door.

Cons: The lobby and entrance was all under construction. Self parking was more expensive than Vegas. Newly remodeled rooms smelled of paint and fresh carpet made it difficult to sleep.

Cons: My room was musty smelling and not at all enjoyable. I could not get the smell out the whole time I was there. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and splurged for the stay here to meet my son and his family for a vacation. The room was much more like a Motel 6 quality. The temp in the room was either really cold or really warm - hard to regulate. I was just very disappointed.

Cons: there was no elevator, had a lot of bags I had to drag upstairs. The laundry room was out of order. Staff seemed confused at morning checkout, said I was listed as a no show?

Cons: This was not the best location, if you want the convention center there is still travel required.

Cons: Are room was right next to the service elevators which kept us up all night long. Only thing the staff would do was discount the valet parking charges. Won't stay there again!

Cons: I paid in advance online for 2 Queen beds, and checking in at 5:30 we were told they only had a king! Then we go to park our cars and the spaces are like for Barbie's car !wayyyy to narrow spaces & posts that many cars have played tag with! The location is just ok...tO far from Pine Ave & 2nd Street where all the restaurants & shops are ! And they charge $15 per car per day to park in that horrible parking structure! They had NO shuttle for around town locally. The walls are thin, we had neighbors on both sides of us keeping us awake all night, laughing & partying!

Cons: Only one restaurant/ bar open in the evenings. No restaurants/ bar nearby. Consequently, service was slow.

Cons: The staff was rude and even lied about the rooms I booked. I had booked a room with double beds only and they gave us a king. I told them I had comfermation that it was double beds and they said it I could not find them and print it out, it was just too bad for me. Luckily, I did find it....it said double beds only....so they finally gave us the room. The staff person to.d me I booked a king...I I to.d him he was wrong and he hung up. It was a bad experience. I had to speak to the manager and the home office and print out the paper that promised me a double bed room before anything was done. Never had such a bad e perience.

Cons: Parking was a nightmare. The hotel shares a parking structure with the World Trade Center business area and you are unable to enter the garage past midnight and valet was nowhere to be seen when we got back to the hotel around 1:00 AM. With so many destinations like Disneyland not too far away that are often open past midnight it was a bit odd that you were out of luck come that time of night.

Cons: There was no hot water in the shower. I told the staff I was sick and needed my room right away and they didn't really seem to care.

Cons: Gift so not open early enough. Princess Diana enemy closed on a Friday until 3pm. Why not babe it open all day especially on a Friday

Cons: The front desk staff was really rude. He just had an attitude the whole time and didn't want to accommodate us. We thought that we booked a room with two queens but it only had two twins and he was just very snobby about it. The rooms were very hot the air conditioner barely worked. I feel for the price it is not worth it. If they are charging over $200 a night, that's including tax, there needs to be a lot more luxury to the hotel. The toilet did not flush very well in the bathtub was uneven. It really needs a facelift.

Cons: Once we arrived and checked in, we got to our room and discovered two twin beds even though I had booked a queen. An even bigger issue was the fact that the ship was hosting a wedding and a concert on the ship and it turned our room into a rattle chamber. The bass was so strong that our lightning fixtures were noisily vibrating, the entire room was shaking and we could clearly hear the music, DJ,and crowd blasting away as if they had set up the speakers in the next room over facing our direction and turned the volume up to 11. We immediately went back to the front desk and voiced our concerns. The front desk rep. was able to get us in another room, on a different floor, farther from the commotion, however no queen beds were available. While I transferred our belongings to the new room, my wife decided to speak with a manager about all the issues so far. The manager turned out to be a tremendous help and she made the rest of our stay as nice as it could be. She ended up finding us a queen bed(which I politely turned down because I didn't want to relocate a third time) and waived the facility fees for wi-fi and parking [side note: the "high speed" wi-fi is atrocious and I ended up just using my normal mobile data which was also horrible due to the fact that your in a metal boat]. After finding out that we were attempting to celebrate our anniversary, she also sent us champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries and gave us a credit on our bill to use for room service or the restaurant if we pleased. The rooms are, obviously, as old as the rest of the ship and in complete disrepair. I understand it's kind of a double-edged sword because the ship is a piece of history which they celebrate, but it's also operating as a hotel and therefore should probably be a little more presentable than a cheap motel. The room also needed a little more TLC when it came to cleanliness. There was residue from something that leaked down the front of the nightstand drawers, there were leftover hairs in the bathroom from a previous occupant, and the carpet was grimy and well-worn. All that said, the Queen Mary isn't the worst place I've stayed, but it is very very far from the best and from the cost of the rooms, that shouldn't be the case.

Cons: The bathroom wall in the shower was peeling. Looks like they don't maintain their rooms.

Cons: Short-tempered, abrasive, and frankly disengaged staff. Shame they set the environment poorly.

Cons: It's old ship, so the rooms are a bit old and not exactly sparkling clean. But the real issue is the Dark Harbor, haunted house event that goes on in October. We were not informed till arriving that are room would be adjacent to this raucous event. From 7pm until 1 am in the morning, extremely loud music, screaming, grass breaking and roaring gas flame would shoot off. It's criminal that the Queen Mary would rent rooms next to this mess. Oh but the front desk gives out cheap ear plugs, so that makes it all better.... not. We were on our one year anniversary and needless to say, were extremely disappointed and frustrated,

Cons: I did not like the conditions of the room. It was not clean! No mentioned in the reservation that will be inside room! Big difference! Items were really old and rusty mainly in the Bathroom! Shawrr door, one light bulb missing, the chain of the lock at entrance door broken, I went to get ice and the bucket had brown water with a plastic bag!! And the door of the Air Conditioning, which was above the bed was showing further prints All over in a white door! The hotel should not rent this rooms anymore!

Cons: Outdated facilities and amenities

Cons: staff were very unfriendly; the TV wasn't working the remote control was broken after waiting one hour some one came and change the remote control. the heater was not working; the lighting over the bed was not working; walls and floor was dirty and the bath room was very old and we could not use it. the toilet paper was almost our and they did not change it. with all these issues the hotel hold $75 security for possible damage while everything was horrible in the room. while the was not any facility to use they changed $14.99 for a facility fee; online mentions free wifi while they charge us for the wifi. $20 parking fee and more. in overall an low end Inn looks like better than what was offered at this hotel. there was a gentleman from Florida was complaining about his room but no one made any effort ta take care it.We never will go back to this hotel and we do not recommend it to anyone. we couldn't sleep t night because we could hear the every word was told in neighboring rooms.

Cons: I realize most of us are limited by our budget, but there are many things that cold have been brought alive without a lot of money. 1. One is cleanliness: The word ship shape was coined for this very thing, a clean and spotless ship at all times. The obat could have been cleaner. 2. There were so many families touring the ship, and there was absolutely nothing for the little ones to do. On one deck there was the outline of old shuffle board courts, but no equipment no chairs to sit in and linger, no nothing. 3. None of the decks had any seating, none of them! Makes for a tiring day on the ship and when I'm tired I want to go home, not linger in the bras, restaurants or shops! 4. I would like to see more polished brass - this is the Queen Mary for goodness sakes! In our room the hardware had all been coated in white (paint)! It is so close to being a spectacular venue for parties, weddings, hotel. Just put some money and style into it! I loved the ship. I highly recommend it but don't have your hopes to high that you will be in lavish luxury... but it is still a great ship!

Cons: While they maintained some of the original fittings in the rooms, many of them were not well maintained. Rust in the toilet and wallpaper peeling off in the shower were simply lack of maintenance, not nostalgia. The Wi-Fi is spotty at best, even though you pay for it with your "Resort Fees", which were substantial at $15/day for things you most likely will not use or are available to the general public, some even for free. The staff was less than accommodating, excepting the Front Desk. They were about the nicest people on board. The remaining staff seemed bent on "when can we close and go home?" They turned away customers at the bar in order to close early. Pretty much everything wraps up on board by about 11 or 11:30pm. No food or drink available after that hour. When we questioned at the Front Desk about the lack of services after 11pm, we were told that "we really think of ourselves more as a museum than a hotel". Well then, why would you sell hotel rooms? If you can overlook the inattentive staff, high price nickel and diming at every corner, and poor maintenance of the staterooms (at least the one we had), then it's worth a visit for a night or two. I don't know if I could make this an entire holiday destination however. The hotel is run by a management company that comes with good credentials, yet they seem to have forgotten about this place and the employees appear to be running it as they see fit, which is not in the best interest of hotel guests. Very unfortunate. There was a Starbuck's on board.

Cons: Confusion on the elevators; The buttons on the elevator were confusing because some were wore off and written with Sharpie (which was also wearing off) Did not offer a free breakfast (only a $10 or $17 option & other restaurants are about 15 minutes away Wi-Fi is available, but only works in certain areas/ had to put my phone at a certain angle THE PLUGS! My phone died and I thought I had left it plugged in. The plugs are too big. You have to stack stuff to hold chargers in place because they will easily fall out and the plugs are only on one side of the room and in the bathroom. None of "normal" size. The sink & toilets & tubs have that orange-rusty-ness towards the drain.

Cons: The ship is very old and rooms are bunkers with poor ventilation

Cons: We left to go to Catalina and asked them to hold wedding cake til we returned later that eve. When we got there they had put the cake in one of the catering refrigerators, and didn't know which one. Front desk people said the catering manager had left and he was only 1 with key & asked if we could come back the following day, which we couldn't. I said someone must have a key. He called around & finally someone said to check w/security, who had the key. I waited 35 mins. to get my cake. Why didn't person at front desk, and the manager he called, know security would have a key. Or why didn't they put it in a refrigerator they could get to knowing we were coming back that eve.

Cons: The parking situation is abhorrent. There's a huge lot for valet and if you're parking yourself you have to park relatively far from the actual ship where it isn't well lit nor guarded. I stayed with a friend of mine and as young women we felt very unsafe. You have to pay $18 for parking plus another $14.99 for "facilities fee". For the price of the room I'm very dissatisfied with the upkeep. Our tub was peeling and not in an ambiance sort of way, it was severe lack of upkeep. We were looking forward to taking showers but that quickly went out the window as neither of us were stepping foot in that's tub. The whole ship looks like they're just letting it deteriorate. There's bits of ceiling in some areas falling down, the paint everywhere is peeling. The Queen Mary should be treated with far more respect. I'm not one to write poor reviews but it was just so sad to see how poorly this ship is being treated and cared for. I sincerely wish I could've given the Queen Mary a better review.

Cons: Too much scattered trash on the ship. Cans, bottles, empty glasses with straws... Even on tours the trash was everywhere. That issue needs attention ASAP.

Cons: The hot water takes a long time to get to the room. The room was quite noisy, and the hotel is getting run down. The breakfast buffet was good but very expensive. I have been to hotels where the same breakfast buffet was free for guests.

Cons: Sub-par lighting... very dark hallways and rooms. AC was on overdrive and no way to control it. It was FREEZING despite it being warm weather outside. Called hotel staff FOUR times and they kept saying they'll send a tech to change temperature from the outside... they didn't send anyone until the fourth call and even then, it didn't result in a warmer room. Not recommended.

Cons: Extra fees - parking plus facilities fees. No coffee or tea maker in room. Parking was confusing, hard to find luggage drop-off. Not clearly marked.

Cons: This is my second stay on the Queen Mary and both times the hotel staff have been rude.

Cons: We stayed 1 night and I had to call the front desk 4 times the fix the a/c! They also tried to charge a facility fee, which was never mentioned! This morning the fire alarm went off around 6:20 am, and I'm assuming it was a false alarm considering I never saw a fire truck! Horrible experience!!! I understand that the fire alarm is somewhat out of their control but with the a/c issue and being charged a fee that was invalid is unacceptable! They didn't even offer any compensation, very disappointed!!

Cons: I would have to say the bathroom needs to be updated, especially the bathtub.
