Pros: I find the facilities & staff are most welcoming, friendly & always available. I have been using this London Hotel for many years, in fact when it was called The Royal Lancaster Hotel. Pros: There was no amenity this hotel didn't think of, no service they didn't offer. The staff were attentive; complementary luxuries abounded (slippers, robes, yoga mats, umbrellas, wifi, fresh fruit, water), the minibar was extensive with snacks, drinks, phone chargers, spa products, just about anything you could need. The location was perfect - right in the middle of London, with park access, easy tube access, a friendly and convenient retail area around the corner for pubs, bakeries, and shopping, all with a view of the London Eye and Big Ben from our room). They made great use of technology to make sure housekeeping is always on top of everything, plus 24 hour room service and 3 room service menus (including one from Nobu!). The room was on the small side (by American standards only), but incredibly well appointed, clean, crisp and modern, with all types of power adapters built into the desk. I have recommended them several times.

Pros: This was a very charming hotel. The location was wonderful - only a few blocks from an Underground station and Hyde Park. The staff was great - very helpful and friendly. The concierge helped with getting tickets to museums and other attractions as well as trains, which saved a great deal of time not waiting in long lines. We took advantage of the breakfast service. The food was good with lots of options. The waitstaff was very attentive. We did not have to wait long for assistance. The maid staff was fine as well and also very friendly. On several occasions, we had to call the front desk to request additional towels and they arrived within minutes.

Pros: Well designed room; very complete; lots of nice touches. Heated towel rack; jacuzzie tub; upscale furnishings; even has a couple of 110/115 outlets. Location cannot be beat; just down from Harrods and up from South Kensington Underground station two stops away from Victoria Station and 4 stops away from Westminster Station. The BigBus "hop on hop off" number 36 is just out front and the narrated tour the bus provides last right at 3.5 hours with city traffic and goes to every single place of interest. Tour bus pricing varies based on package deal but around $30 per person. The staff of the hotel always exceeds expectation; Neal, the head concierge; is full of insights for the area; found us a large private van to Heathrow for $65. We had 4 big bags from a twoo week Cruise, so the large Mercedes was excellent. The hotel and its ammenities are moderately pricied if not leaning a little toward expensive, as in breakfast; but in tota,l worth the money especially if on vacation. A superior experience; will stay here again when visiting London for sure.

Pros: I will not book a room in this hotel again because, having paid 200 pounds per night:
- It took me half an hour to have a mediocre shower since the fresh water hardly run through the pipes (despite the washroom being recently refurbished).
- The room was very noisy (street cars and doors slapping all night).
- The complimentary breakfast (I paid for) was ridiculous. No salty/warm food, only some fresh fruit (which was good) and industrial pastries (along with the standard drinks, of course).

Pros: I stayed only for one night to be closer to my departure the next day, but after having stayed at airbnb apartments, staying at the Holiday Inn was a fresh experience!! Clean, comfortable and a good value

Pros: The hotel is a fantastic location. Great value for the area. A very nice Holiday Inn, nothing fancy but good, clean and safe. I would highly recommend, the only reason I did not give it Excellent for everything is I would reserve that for a truly 5 star hotel or luxury boutique hotel. This was neither, but served our needs and met all of my expectations.
