I wasn't able to rent a car to go see my dying grandma, because when I went to pick up my rental, they informed me that at that location they didn't accept anything but credit cards. And I didn't have one or access to one at that point. What makes it worse, days prior to my reservation, I called Avis via the number kayak provided me to make sure I had all my ducks in a row. And not once was it mentioned that a credit card was needed in order to get the car rental6.0 Okay

No one went over the car at the time I took keys only when I returned the car. There were dings on the body and other issues that were not noted at the time I rented car. When I have rented other vehicles someone walked around the vehicle with me.10.0 Wonderful

There was a 100 mile per day limit, which wasn't clear when renting online (or maybe it was listed and I just read past it). The car itself was an older Chevrolet Impala with 40000 (seemingly rough) miles. The car shook and shuddered its way from Kingsford to Marquete and back.Easirent

I was informed that my rental car was not available 2 hours prior to pick up and that there were no other vehicles available at this location. It would have been helpful to know this information hours in advance (i.e. first thing that morning) since all my travel plans were contingent on getting this vehicle on time.National

Rental agent wasn't even at the desk. Waited 30 min and tried calling the phone number left on a sign which went straight to voicemail. The agents at the other car rental companies' desks nearby said they hadn't even seen anyone come in today. I gave up and rented a car from National instead.Sunnycars
