Pros (+) We liked that it was close to downtown and the staff was friendly. Room was comfortable.
Cons (-) The room had an odor when we entered. Had to walk across the street for activities. Pool was not heated, had to unlock and get own canoe into and out of water with no help. Catered mostly to business people and not vacationers.
Pros (+) I loved that there were free kayaks and canoes upon request. This motel is just a stone's throw away from the Caloosahatchee River. Downtown was only a short walk down the road.
Cons (-) A/C unit made a lot of noise and maintenance was unable to quiet it down. during the day there was a constant loud banging from the neighboring units. One of the main roads was just outside the room so we had a lot of road noise and i believe there is a nearby train.
Pros (+) Loved opening the French doors onto the pond.
