Pros: My friend and I got there on a Thursday night. We asked the manager if we could get an upgrade since I was a gold member and the hotel was more than half empty. She denied us that courtesy. I would understand if the hotel was full but it was totally empty probably due to the bad weather so I will not stay here again

Pros: I chose Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park because of its location and good reputation. After my stay at the hotel I am glad that I made a right choice. When I was checking into the hotel there was some confusion about my reservation. I reserved two rooms but the hotel reservation system showed only one room under my name. After I presented my two hotel reservation vouchers and email communication the front desk manager quickly gave me two rooms without unnecessary delay (the room types were exactly what I requested when I made my reservation). The hotel front desk manager and staff were very courteous while they were trying to sort it out. I and my family had a great stay there. It's location and free room wi-fi connection were excellent.

Pros: My wife and I have always stayed north of the river but chose this one to stay in a different part of the city but be close to everything. We loved the location to CTA stops because used that to get around the city. We loved the location's proximity to basically anything that we needed. The staff was very informative and friendly. My wife enjoyed the chilled water bottle stations on each floor. The elevator runs very quick compared to other Chicago hotels that we have stayed at. The room service and food deliveries run late into the night.

Pros: The staff at this hotel is excellent; very friendly and completely accomodating. We have stayed at this hotel a few times and this time we upgraded to the mini-suite with a kitchenette. It was great, it afforded us more space and conveniences such as a refrigerator, etc. Well worth the extra money it cost. I would stay here again and again and recommend it highly. The restaurant next door, The Elephant and Castle, is very good and so convenient for drinks or a meal.

Pros: My message light was on on my phone and i called the desk 5 times and they said they would turn it off and they never did. For me it is the little things that irritate me when it comes to service. Do what you say you are going to do. The book int he room says the shop int he lobby is open until 10pm but it was closed at 7pm and then the next day it was closed at 4pm. Again, frustrating.
