Pros:Drop off was very efficient.Cons:There was a 2 fold difference between the amount on the final receipt and the initial estimate. As there are no petrol stations near Edinburgh airport, I had to hand in the car without filling the tank myself and was charged £100 for the fuel ! Pay attention to your charges and Insurance detailsPros:NoneCons:Service was poor and filled with sneaky additional charges with little explanation. After paying for full insurance and having a defective front tire to start, they refused to reemburse for the replacement we had to fix during our trip out of pocket. Completely Irrational explanations as to why, $390.00 USD for a 4 day rental is an absurd scam. From the original quoted price of $89 +$150 for full insurance total. Upgrades were given and put on bill and told at desk no additional cost (nav, car upgrade) based on inventory availability after booking in advance, then charged to the final bill. Unhelpful in a pinchPros:The car was clean and functionalCons:The pick up process was slow and confusing. We got a flat tire and there was no spare, no patch kit, and Budget was extremely unhelpful throughout the entire process. Ended up having to pay for a tow truck, and a new tire out of my pocket and then upon returning the vehicle, there was no one that was willing to talk to me about the whole experience and just told me to call the customer service line, which is even worse to deal with, and it was just a terrible rental experience all around. The issue with the tire is still unresolved, and I am spending hours trying to get reimbursed, but to no avail. Worst rental experience I have ever had.Reviewed Oct 25 2016

Wrong information providedPros:Everything from booking to return was super goodCons:The amount mentioned in Kayak was in USD but Budget charged in GBP. The website and the email that I received clearly mentioned that I will be charged in USD . Now after return I paid in GBP which costed me more than the initial amount plus the foreign transaction fee for my credit card.Reviewed Sep 8 2016
