Pros:The biggest positive I have to say is the attentive staff. They always make my stay a very relaxing and enjoyable one. The food is excellent no matter where you eat, however for a touch of class and that special experience, one must book a table at Mezzaluna. The newly open whiskey bar is wonderful if you are into good quality scotch. The Sky Bar is of course a draw card offering spectacular views of the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok city...a must to experience!! If you like a scotch based cocktail with Christmas like spices, do try the "Forgotten"!
Cons:Frankly, this section is difficult to write for pretty much all aspects of the service/hotel has met or exceeded my expectation. If I am to find a slight negative, it would be the bed. It was, for my liking, too hard. I minor matter.

Pros:Our hotel room was beautiful and well appointed. The room was very clean and extremely large. The service at the hotel was great and they even removed a charge from my account that I wasn't happy with. The breakfast was amazing and had many options to choose from. The gym was a nice touch and featured a lovely sauna and steam room. The view from the room however, could not be more stellar and had to be our favorite part of Lebua.
Cons:I did not like how long the elevator took to come because of how far up we were. I also did not like that bar patrons could use the tower elevators. At night the wait for the elevator could actually take 10 minutes. Fair warning.

Pros:The hotel is first class all the way. The service, food, & bedroom/bathroom linens are excellent. The staff is almost perfect and I didn't speak to a single person from maid staff on up that didn't speak excellent English. I can't say that about any hotel I've stayed at in Bangkok and I've been going there for years.
Cons:The biggest downside is location. It's not convenient to public transportation, Sapan Taksin BTS station is 500meters away which sounds doable unless it's 100 degrees with 99.99% humidity which will make you a complete mess by the time you get to whenever you're headed. Also, we took taxis everywhere because of the heat and with NO exceptions, none of them knew where the hotel was or recognized the name of the hotel or the building it's in. Even with my Thai wife (who is a Bangkok native), we had to call the hotel to explain to the taxi driver how to get there as she couldn't explain it to him either. I'd say stay there in the cold season (Nov-Jan) but avoid the rest of the year. Make sure you stay at the Tower Club or get a rate with breakfast as the restaurant rates are exorbitant by most standards and just plain obscene by Thai standards. It was originally a condo building so every room is like an extended stay suite with a small kitchen, fridge, & stove but NO cooking utensils, plate ware or silverware. We didn't care as we had no intention of cooking anyway. It also has a "living room" with furniture but no TV so it was wasted space for us.
