Cons:There were bugs because my to son got eaten up. Black mold in the shower.
Pros:i had to have a place to stay.
Cons:there was not even a clock in the room to keep time. I did not feel safe there. Someone in the room next to ours was getting beat up the second night we were there. Many shady characters here.

Pros:We were surprised when we walked into the room. It didn't seem half bad, and though we didn't use a black light to determine how clean it actually was, the appearance did not indicate any dirt, however it was clear the bathtub had some stains the staff couldn't get rid of, and they didn't choose to replace the tub because it still worked fine.
Cons:For the money, we would have been overall safisfied with our stay if it wasn't for one important detail: a working toilet. The first night the toilet worked fine for urine, and even the first round of #2. But by the next morning, #2 was not flushing. (Also the sink was not draining from minor facial hair from shaving). We alerted the staff when we left in the morning and by the time we got back in the evening, our room had been cleaned, the toilet seemed functional again, and so did the sink. However by night time with just urine (and very little (if any) toilet paper use, so as to not disrupt the delicate plumbing,) it was clogged by the end of the night. In the morning while getting ready, we of course had to urinate so we had to do it in the toilet that hadn't been flushed from the night before. Before we left in the morning we tried flushing it again, and this time it overflowed (urine and all.) We quickly threw towels on the ground to catch the waste going all over the floor, preventing it from leaving the bathroom, while we simultaneously turned off the running water to the toilet. We again alerted the staff before we left that day. When we returned, the toilet looked fine again. Long story short, we had 2 more days at the hotel that were pre-paid thanks to how kayak does things, and since we didn't feel it was a problem unique to our room and more likely a problem of plumbing for the hotel overall, we just simply had to "make due" (pun intended,) by using the toilet strictly for urine and having to use toilets at restaurants while we were out throughout the day, for our #2's. We feel like the ability to fully utilize the restroom that comes with your hotel room, is key to actually being able to call it a hotel room. We weren't mad at the staff because I would imagine they get tired of getting these calls and having to fix/unclog toilets all day, and they'd love nothing more than to have the problem solved for good, but the higher ups would rather squeeze as much profit as they can from what already seems a slim margin. Honestly, I don't think this is a problem with motel 6's overall (though this was our first,) so I would try a motel 6 again, but probably just not this one. (Oh, and no shampoo... Not a huge deal I guess.)
