Pros:The staff are friendly. It's very inexpensive, so you can spend your travel budget on other things like good food.
Cons:When it's warm out there is apparently a rooftop area, but in the winter there are ZERO public areas to sit around. Want to take out a bento box to eat at your hotel? Forget it, there isn't a table or chair to sit on. They provide a tiny hand towel, but it's almost unusable for showering. This is one amenity I wish they would change their policy on, because everybody needs to shower. It's not like other capsule hotels I've stayed at. The capsules are more like booths in the wall, and the top bunks have air slits around the edges to adjacent booths. This makes it easier to hear the people around you. In the winter when I stayed, my adjacent booths were filled with coughing, snoring, sniffling people. It made sleeping difficult for my hypochondriac self. My traveling partner got sick, though he slept on the more isolated lower bunk. I would take this into consideration staying here in the winter: you'll be sharing a room with dozens of potentially cold-carrying people.
