Pros: lovely people who own the kensington, just like home from home, lovely rooms and very nicely decorated, and love the homely touches with the fresh bread in a morning, scones and little muffin buns left in our room ! excellent breakfast choices. will definately be stopping again next year

Pros: The rooms were brilliant. The decor was really nice, modern and stylish. All the staff were really friendly and made you feel at home. the best thing was the quality of the rooms and the television in the bathroom.

Pros: Staff are polite and very helpfull. We wanted to eat out and they gave us a list of places and a map to follow so we could find uor way back easily. We locked our key inside and they gave us another one without saying a word. They filled our tea tray and made our bed every day.

Pros: Fantastic building but rather down at heel. Loved the room and the views but needed a bit of tlc!

Pros: Did not have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. Would not stay in a room with no windows again, too claustrophobic. Finding your way around the hotel was difficult and the signs were difficult. One of the lifts was out of order when we stayed.

Pros: I thought it stood up to its name Grand and the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every minute of my stay may it been a short one , look forward to having a longer stay.

Pros: The historic building is very impressive from the outside and equally so inside the foyer with the huge staircase taking centre stage. The hotel had it's Christmas decorations up which looked beautiful. We stayed in room 640 which was within one on the towers, it has two windows with beautiful views of the beach and the town and is of a good size. The food was buffet style serve yourself with plenty of choice, soup. salad bar, hot buffet for main and various cakes, ice cream, mince pies plus cheese and crackers. The breakfast was great with fruit, toast, cereal and of course a full English available, this again was self service so worked really well for us. The general ambience of the hotel was very warm and welcoming.

Pros: Though the room was a bit small for a Premium, the Jaccuzzi bath made up for that!

Pros: I liked sitting in on the Line Dancing. I liked the view of the sea and the luxurious lobby. I also was taken by the friendly atmosphere and the staff were extremely helpful. The food was first class both the dinner and the breakfastand the resturant was awesome. I have been to many hotels in London and The Grand would top them all.
