As always a very comfortable stay. The beds were wonderful and the breakfast was as wonderful as it always has been. The check in person was very nice and pleasant. A person who was cleaning went out of her way to help me with finding things. I wish I got her name to specify. Pros (+) Great location if traveling to cedar point. Friendly desk staff during check-in. I have stayed here on three separate occasions, and the women running the breakfast buffet in the morning do such a great job of being welcoming and friendly, very personable. The room was clean and the hotel itself was not noisy or disruptive into all hours of the night as some reviews mention. Stayed on 5th floor.
Cons (-) My kid was determined to use their indoor pool. Pool area was ok, but not a very big pool and I had to use the pool strainer net to fish out a used bandaid floating on the water’s surfaces and also a piece of someone’s weave that sank to the bottom. This was the only complaint I would have, however, if you are brave enough to venture into a hotel pool, this kind of stuff comes with the territory.
