Had to spend the first 2 nights in 2 separate rooms because our reserved room was not empty. The keys stop working every 2-3 days. Dated and not well maintained. Decent location but not worth the price

Pros (+) I have to say at first look you think you did not get a good deal. However, the cleanliness and the staff and the location can’t be beat!. And I can’t stress it enough just how great the staff was. You can ask them anything and they will accommodate you to the best of their abilities. Cons (-) I think the only thing that could’ve been better is the dehumidifier in the room fills up really fast but I wouldn’t say that that was a horrible thing but it helps to have it empty. It keeps the room much cooler.

Pros (+) The hotel cancelled my reservation without communicating this to me in any way. I called to confirm, in light of the hurricane and was told it had been cancelled. This was a month after the storm and just 2 wks prior to my scheduled arrival. Pros (+) Recently my friend and I visited Puerto Rico and stayed in various locations around the island. The night we stayed in San Juan we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. It was right off of the main streets and close to the water. A short drive to Old San Juan.
