I booked this place as a result of my flight getting cancelled. This place could be very good given the location in Charlotte Amalie. I was told that housekeeping was every other day. But in my three night stay they never showed. Not great. The beds definitely need to replaced as there was a significant lean. Both the WIFI and TV were spotty but I was luckily able to get some work done. The is a security guard/concierge was very helpful with luggage and finding a taxi. There are great restaurants around the hotel within walking distance.

Pros:Has a pool & bar, easy access to safari and shops downtown, a feery is close by. NOT RED HOOK!
Cons:I saw a roach in the bathroom, walls were dirty, comforter on bed feels rough. One of the ladies at the front desk gave me the wrong information for the ferry and I had to cancel my excursion in St.John.

Pros:If you're coming or going to the BVI, hotel is across the street from the ferry terminal making it perfect for crash and dash. Nothing spectacular about the hotel. Clean, quiet, what more do you want? Walking distance to Frenchtown where there are several bars and restaurants.

Cons:The wait to check in was ridiculously long. Even though it was 5.00, way past check in time, a lot of people were being told to wait as the rooms weren't ready. Our keys didn't work, or so we thought - turned out the door was so warped we had to literally put our shoulders into it to open the door. The room was very worn generally. Lukewarm water in the shower at best. About an hour after we arrived, the door to the room flew open - another group had been assigned our room and given keys to it. The pool was dirty with black mold and used band aids floating around. The staff were nice enough, but they are battling against impossible odds here. This place probably needs knocking down and rebuilding from the ground up.

Pros:Location near the ferry dock and seaplane base.
Cons:Water front room exceptionally noisy. Saturday booze barge party passed the hotel a 100' off the sea wall until midnight with blaring music that seemed to rattle the Windows. Also the light show all night on the facade of the building made me feel like I was in Vegas. Do not spend the extra $ for water front.

Pros:Location for business is good. That's it!
Cons:The bathroom was yucky. In fact I did not use it..it was that bad. A/c was noisy. The hotel has again gone to the dogs over the years. I would not ever stay here again being on the main street it's is noisy and I am sure in this day and age they can make the rooms quiter.
