Pros: Fantastic location for getting around on foot. Within a few blocks there are plenty of sights and foods to experience. Friendly and helpful staff who didn't seem to mind my Spanglish. Facilities were well kept and quite spacious. It's definitely a modern hotel for a city with such history and colonial aesthetic.

Pros: Everything but specifically the extremely friendly and attentive staff, they provided legniappe they really went above and beyond. Even staying in the mirage in Vegas had no comparison to this.

Cons: THIS HOTEL HAS GONE DOWNHILL , THERE ARE NO EXTRAS WHAT SO EVER, TATTERED AND FRAYED CARPET AND BEDDING, ROOM GO UNPAINTED FOR MANY MANY YEARS. MANAGER LOOKS RIGHT THRU YOU, OFFERS NOTHING IN THE WAY OF SERVICE, FRONT DESK HAVE NO SENSE OF COSTOMER SERVICE, VERY UNFRIENDLY, I GUESS THEY WERE TRAINED BY THE MANAGER. I HAD A ROOM WITH A VIEW OF A WALL, COULD NOT SEE ANYTHING ELSE BUT A WALL, HAVE THE PICS AS PROOF. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING IN THE WAY OF SEVICE FORGET IT, DO NOT LET THE BEAUTIFUL LOBBY FOOL YOU.

Cons: Cold water showers. When we referred the issue to the reception counter, they simply stated that the water tank was empty. Not the friendliest of staff with the exception of Lupita from housekeeping. She was very nice and welcoming.

Pros: Nice hotel and staff, breakfast buffet was outstanding. The on site spa isn't really a spa. The massage I received was pretty amateurish, and the pedicure laughable. Several times I had to call to get towels for my room, and the maids didn't always replenish soaps ad's such. They also had some power issues and there were periods without ac or lights in some areas. Staff, however, were great, accommodating, and service was fest in restaurant, bar, check in and porters.

Pros: Ofrecen un desayuno que es muy sencillo y con buena atención.
Cons: Atención desorganizada y poca comunicación entre el personal. Muy ruidoso. Nos llegaron a abrir la habitación por la mañana mientras descansábamos. Teníamos reservación al llegar no la verificaron y luego nos quería cobrar y reubicar aludiendo que nos habían dado una habitación mas cara. La rotulación exterior es difícil de mirar por lo que nos perdimos. Mucho por mejorar!

Pros: The location is really great. Right near the city center and lots of restaurants. Staff was very nice.
Cons: Lots of little annoyances: no outlet near most of the beds, hostel had no drinking water on my second day, hot rooms. By far the worst part was outside the hostel there was actual jack hammering happening all night -- from 10pm until 5am. Obviously not the fault of the hostel, but a terrible experience, and one I'm surprised they wouldn't at least warn guests about.
