Pros (+) I’m sure the place was ok as far as cleaniness goes. I didn’t make it that far.
Cons (-) As I was approaching the hotel there was an altercation happening. Turns out the front desk clerk was getting into a hot tempered altercation with another guest. The police were called. We were surprised to see that this was a family with two small children and a baby. When wanting to cancel my stay the clerk was extremely rude with a bad attitude. I’ve never experienced worse service.
Pros (+) The location was great. There was so much around to see and do within walking distance. The room was charming and huge.. Will stay again next time I am in New Orleans.

Cons (-) Room (24) was a real problem...led to a outdoor patio with two sets of sliding/french doors. Either this "room" is rented as a double at times, but during my stay two separate parties shared the unlocked "main" door to the patio. Pros (+) Neighborhood seems safe. The trolley rails run right in front of the building; however, the trains weren't operating due to construction. There's a 24hr restaurant across the street and a BBQ & pizza place next door; there are 2 sushi restaurants and a CVS within a 10 minute walking distance.
Cons (-) you have to find a place to park in the street as there is no parking provided. We had to circle the neighborhood a few times before we found an open spot.
