Pros:The staff, breakfast and a fine meal from the restaurant.

Pros:Clean. Safe location.
Cons:Walls were thing and noise traveled throughout the hotel and halls. I'm not sure if all Munich hotels are like this but the amenities were lacking: no washcloth, conditioner, complementary tea or coffee, etc. Our shower head and heater were both broken and we asked that they be fixed - neither were. It is inconvenient to get to Munich and there are very few options for shopping and eating nearby. It is quite a walk from the trains. I also stayed during Oktoberfest and though I am not sure what the rate usually is, it was not worth the money during this time.It certainly did not feel like a 4 star hotel.
Pros:The staff was extraordinarily friendly. The room was nice. No complaints about the hotel itself, for the most part. Good wifi.
Cons:The location was so-so, about a km walk to the nearest S-bahn. However, we booked the room in the middle of Oktoberfest less than a week ahead of time, so it was better than what else was available. As other reviewers mentioned, the 21€ breakfast is not worth the money. We didn't notice until we were done eating that there was a little note on the table encouraging diners to order food to order, which might have made a difference? The cafe at Freidrich-Eckart Strasse and Daglfinger Strasse was a much better option.
