Cons (-) Wifi is not included in hotel rate and can only be purchased in person at the front desk. Guest cannot eat poolside and must eat in designated eating areas far from the pool. Pros (+) First time we've ever stayed here, or in any 'All-inclusive' type stay. The food was very very good, the staff did their best to make our stay a memorable one. The staff always seems to be fixing, cleaning, arranging, or just looking over the entire complex. Cons (-) One of the main problems we had with El Cid was the lack of modern Wi-Fi! I mean, any where these days should have fast *free* and reliable Wi-Fi. Pros (+) I loved the location of the hotel. Right on the beach and loved that 3 of the el cid hotels are on the same property so many pools to choose from. Right next to señor frogs which has open bar on Wednesday and Friday which is so fun!
Cons (-) Very loud. Under construction?? Can hear everything.
