The location is really good for proximity to parks and Paddington Station. The exterior is nice but the interior is pretty run down. The carpet in our room was stained. The bathroom and shower were tiny. However, the bed was actually quite comfortable. The view and the art in the room were depressing. Pros (+) Location is handy to Paddington Station (10 min walk). My room had been "refreshed" sometime in the past few years and the bathroom was clean.
Cons (-) I was given a room on the 4th floor, with no elevators and a couple of heavy suitcases. Staircases were narrow, different sizes and in one case curved, steep and with no handrail! The hallways were also narrow, oddly shaped and poorly signed. I got lost trying to navigate to my room several times.
