Pros: I have celiacs disease, they were really good at catering for this, a huge basket of gluten free breads, cereals and cakes turned up at breakfast and I was walked through which items on the buffet were gluten free, which included the nuremberger sausages.
Add to this that the service is truly 5*, not always the case in 5* hotels, the high ceilings in the rooms, the pool, gym, sauna, gf steak tartare for supper, the view of the Alster at breakfast, it really can't be improved on.
AND most importantly all of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and went the extra distance to make sure you really felt looked after.

Pros: For 89€ the room was maybe the best value for money I have experienced in years (maybe I was upgraded without knowing so)! Quite large room with sofa, a massive and comfortable bed and for a hotel room it had a large television set. Furthermore the room had a brand new bathroom with bathtub - the sink was leaking a little bit though.
