Pros: Great location.... Walk 1 1/2 short blocks and your at the beginning of the tourist walking street attractions. Abouts 7 blocks in a row with Plazas, Churches, Fountains, Museums, Restaurants, Sculptures and Government Buildings with murals not to be missed. Rooms away from elevators are quiet, ask for 5th floor or higher, really any view is fantastic but the preferred Church steeple view rooms are hard if not impossible to get. I arrived to the hotel at 10am and had to wait until half past 11 to get a room away from the loud elevator. No View of Church Spires but got room 706 and saw another church a few blocks away and some impressive mountain views.

Pros: The hotel was recently remodeled and everything was super clean and the room was cleaned well everyday. The room was large and the windows were double-paned so city noise didn't penetrate the room. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and spoke English as well as Spanish. The location was great. Overall, a fantastic value.

Pros: The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower great. Overall great room. The staff at the front desk were awesome and so were the men who took care of the cars. I would not call them valets because they seemed to do a lot of different things, but they were awesome.

Pros: The rooms were nice and clean, just as the photos show. We went to the restaurant for dinner, and that was really, really good with a wide variety of Mexican dishes. The breakfast buffet was good, too, with hot and cold items. The prices for both of those were great. Dinner for 20 people was 2429 pesos, or about $130; breakfast for 20 was 1829 pesos or $100. It wasn't far to walk to the cathedral area and lots of great sites. I didn't go out walking at night, but during the day it seemed to be a safe neighborhood. It was nice, too, that they had a computer down in the lobby that anyone could use.

Very reasonably priced if you're coming from the US or Canada. I would never stay anywhere else in Guadalajara.
