Cons (-) Upon arrival there was NOBODY attending the front desk and a sign said "gone to the airport, sorry the inconvenience" when the person arrived 30 min later, she checked in the persons in the shuttle first and totally ignored me, after waiting for 30 min for them to arrive. Meanwhile the front lobby had breakfast cereal sitting overnight... the breakfast was poor and disgusting, expired food. So wen...

Cons (-) Could not sleep feeling safe in our first floor room after discovering, at midnight, that our window behind curtain was open....and there was NO LOCK ON OUR OPEN FIRST FLOOR WINDOW!
Pros (+) Location was nice, as it was close to lots....
Cons (-) Its a very basic room. Very small bathroom, shower etc. On the noisy side..both room to room, and in room (ie ac noises, plumbing noises etc). TV was by todays standards....poor. Small, 480 res. poor picture even at that. Odd white stain on carpet (your guess would probably be correct). Power plugs simply fall out of outlets.
Pros (+) The location was very convenient. We had an early flight, so we stayed at the Travelodge the night before. The room was clean, staff was friendly. Besides being 10 minutes from the airport, the hotel is 10 minutes from downtown Ft Myers and 10 minutes from Ft Myers Brewing. There is also a sports bar 2 minutes away and almost every fast food chain is right there to. Perfect place to stay for us.
