This former Sheraton facility has some issues, dominantly management and maintenance related. When we arrived, 2 of 3 bathroom lights were out. This begs the question of whether the room was inspected after the last guests or whether the housekeeping staff noted the outage and didn’t report it. It seems the more one pays for a hotel room, the less one gets — that’s the sacrifice when you trade affordability for location. The Sheraton at Capitol Square is a convenient location, but doesn’t have a restaurant or bar. Pros (+) The staff were extremely friendly! The beds were comfy. I liked that the parking garage was a quick walk to the hotel and you didn't have to walk outside at all. Everywhere we decided to go was a quick drive to and from our hotel which was very convenient.
Cons (-) The hotel room floors seemed dirty and somewhat sticky feeling. Parking for this hotel was ridiculously expensive. Someone must have vomitted in the lobby bc there was an awful vomit smell the two times we walked through the lobby.
