Pros: The staff was unhelpful, rude and unwilling to find any type of solution.Cons: I go to Kayak and reserve the car. I go to the location 2 days later to pick up the car for a business trip where they say we do not have a that reservation or a car for you. It is 11;40 closes at 12 and sitting in their parking lot is an abundance of other vehicles that could have been offered, were all going to be used that day for a day or two? Then the guy behind the counter says well it could be a computer glitch. We don't have the reservation or a car. My response was so now we are not going to take any accountability or responsibility for having computers do the work for us, like answer the telephone to make the reservation and talk to a live agent who speaks English or French. No offer to see what they can do, apologize for any inconvenience,not that they care I got the distinct feeling, said nothing they just stood there dumb founded and not speaking, as if to say it is my fault, and nothing we can do. So FO, basically. Customer Service wow, requires excessive training, and YES, I work in customer service, and know all about how customers can be, especially when they are intoxicated, high, or stealing merchandise in front of you. So, I know a little bit about dealing with the public, and their rights and cityit attitude, how to offer assistance and not blame the customer, or 3rd party online computer sites, as the reason there are no vehicles. If this is the case,then there is a serious flaw in the system that needs to be addressed. I call Kayak, they say it is Budget, call Budget they say it is Kayak. The final from the Philippines head office on customer service, that they could give me a 25 dollar credit towards my next rental, and how the hell did I get to work 4 hours away for that evening? Will I ever rent from Budget again, No, will I go to Hamilton, Ontario for rentals at this location. No. But, also being in customer service, and the I don't give a shit attitudes that do exist, when writing to complaint departments, they do nothing. At the end of it, be kind. They will go on with business, I just choose not to be their customer.
