Cons (-) After paying for the hotel and airfare, and surprising my partner with the vacation, Amoma.com informs me that the hotel will not accept my reservation. I was forced to choose another hotel I was not happy with. That was FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.
Pros (+) Rooms well appointed and spacious, even studio. Beautiful pools. Walking distance to town, but not in town. Staff very courteous, and put up with my marginal Spanish. Fully stocked w/ pots, dishes, nice coffee maker etc. All rooms face pools & ocean (that we saw). Great gym.
Cons (-) Listed in approx. order of importance: Restaurants serve almost all American cuisine - not what we want in Mexico - need to add some good / local / distinctive Mexican cuisine (not just ceviche)!! Has beach front, but surf is too strong to allow swimming, and not quite wide enough to allow laying out on beach. Lighting in room (kitchen area of studio) could be better.
