Pros: The day time house cleaning staff needs attention. Our room was not made up either morning of our stay. When informed, the hotel was responsive. The room was beaufiful and the bathroom large and luxurious. The location of hotel was very good. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Pros: The lobby is magnificent, the room was lovely. It's about 15 min from the "center" IE the chain bridge. Pieter the concierge is wonderful and very helpful. The food is hit or miss, I enjoyed the goulash and parsely spaetzle. Most of the desserts were too sweet.

Pros: Beautiful historic building with lavish features inside and out. No detail overlooked from front desk customer service to house keeping, everyone is friendly, professional and efficient. A well oiled machine that has exceeded our expectations on multiple visits.

Pros: The staff was extremely attentive. They remembered details about what i liked into the next day. Everyone was polite and well mannered. The food was delicious and the wine waiter knew his subject. The meal could not have been more perfect. The chef worked with my lactose intolerance and modified the food.

Pros: Apartment located on Pest side and its in the middle of everything...near two grocery stores and tons of restaurant...I give it five stars for cleanliness,location, staff, value for your money...upon arrival you receive complimentary wine it has a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and just a washer machine no dryer tho...but again near everything and staff help book tours.

Pros: Staff could not have been more gracious and accommodating. Location was perfect. The rooms was super spacious and comfortable, included a full kitchen, dining and lounge area, plus bedroom and laundry. Also had a great experience at the restaurant, Entree. 6 Star, Would recommend it to anyone traveling to Budapest.

Pros: The location was excellent, just one block from Deak Ter and within walking distance of everything you want to see in Budapest. Deak Ter is also the connection point for all 3 metro lines, so going to destinations further afield is a snap. There are a ton of cafes and restaurants on the street, and even a 24-hour mini-market across the street. The apartment itself was comfortable, clean and light-filled. The hotel staff were incredibly nice and accomodating, and even threw in a free bottle of hungarian wine with the room!

Pros: It is the best choice if you are planning to visit Budapest.Everything was better than expected.The apartment was full of needful things.The location is just perfect if you want to explore budapest, everything is very near within walking distance(metro, 24 hrs supermarket etc).What was really helpful was the taxi service! They came and picked us up for the airport and when we were leaving they took us back to the airport.That was very convenient and in reasonable price.Next time I visit budapest I will choose the same hotel- apartment. I was very pleased

Pros: Bohem has an amazing spread for breakfast. Every imaginable food is there and amply provided: smoked salmon, gourmet cheeses, home-made muesli, numerous pastries, breads, 2 types of eggs, breakfast meats, espresso, etc., etc. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Pros: I thought it was magical. It's a beautiful old hotel. Much more charming than a generic chain hotel. I'd always wanted to stay there and booking.com enabled me to afford 2 nights there.

Pros: The spa facilities were excellent and the room spacious although the room sizes vary. The situation on the island was peaceful and although not directly in the centre of the city this could easily be accessed in about 5 minutes by bus. I will certainly return in fact it is my second visit. Good value for money.

Pros: Terrific location, right next to Chain Bridge and less than a 5-minute walk to the edge of the main square. Gorgeous views of Castle Hill as soon as you walk outside. Easy walk to the bridge and funicular starting point.

Pros: Great hotel! Clean and right in the middle of Budapest (the opera house is literally right next door). Front desk (Agnes) was very helpful and accommodateing. Breakfast was nice as well. Would definitely return.

Pros: The receptionists were generally VERY helpful, including one who worked the phone for ten or fifteen minutes and got me an incomprehensible deal on a personal day trip to the tokaji wine region, picked up and dropped off at the hotel, with tours of three vineyards and tastings with the nicest guide ever, scheduled less than two days before the trip. This wad a highlight of my stay in Hungary. They also let me extend my stay for two additional nights jist the day before my scheduled checkout, although the cost of the room went up rather significsntly (it was very cheap to start, though, considering the quality of the hotel). The typical hotel provisions to the room are rather minimal though (soap extremely tiny, no slippers, only one box of tissues), so I found myself asking for things at the front desk a lot, which made me feel a bit awkward.

Pros: Excellent location. Very close to metro and busses. Quiet location just off main street. Steps from opera house. Room was very nice . Comfortable bed, clean. I was on first floor and the view was of wall. Not a problem as I did not spend much time in the room. The breakfast was excellent with great variety. Staff helpful and friendly.

Pros: This was my 3rd stay here. I like it's proximity to big commercial centres (Arena Plaza, IKEA, Budapest fair etc.) and easyness to reach from airport, Keleti railway station, city centre and M5 highway. It's an amazing value for money, for a 4 star hotel! Finally, I like it's interior...

Pros: The Location just on the edge of the town on the riverside is excellent. if your expecting the sterile look of a premier inn or other large chain of hotels then don't stay here. The Gellert gives you glimpse of a bygone age. Wood panelling and colourful glass decorate the interior. Yes its a bit frayed around the edges, but then so am I and I am not 100 years old. The service was attentive and helpful and the facilities more than acceptable for its price bracket and rating. Yes you can get a more modern and predictable experience but I consider myself an individual character in life and so the Gellert has individual character. I came to see the city of Budapest and not spend all my time looking under the carpet for hotel faults, so savour its uniqueness, charm, history and enjoy. Thank you for the experience.

Pros: Tram lines right next to it, friendly staff, beautiful building - inside and out, amazing breakfast buffet, very nice restaurant and bar attached to it, comfortable beds, easy access to Gellert Baths.

Pros: The hotel is old but clean and well maintained. Our rooms were large and the bathrooms huge by European standards. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast is great and access is very easy by metro and bus, both right across the street from the hotel. The thermal spas were fantastic and although busy not crowded. Use the spas on the side of the swimming pool, it attracts less visitors. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Will certainly return.

Pros: Staff was attentive and pleasant. Breakfast is amazing, huge and many choices which is included in room price. Price was very reasonable. Access to the bath house is so convenient and guests get discounted entry, it's wonderful to walk down in your big terry cloth robe and enjoy the bath house, towels are also provided by the hotel, added perk. Tram is directly across the street and allows access to all directions in the city. Views are stunning of the bridges and river. We were there in November so not crowded at all.

Si vous devez utiliser un taxi pour vous rendre à l'aeroport ou inversémment, préférer alors de passer par l'hôtel afin de vous le réservez. Héler un taxi revient des fois au double du prix (arnaque) mais limite drôle, on ne s'est pas fait avoir. L'hôtel est grand. Le déjeuner peut se prendre dans une grande salle commune où l'on remplis son assiette à volonté.

Pros: The hotel was excellent, very close to the Keleti station, which was very important to us since we've arrived at 5 AM to Budapest. The staff was so kind to let us check in at 10 AM on the first day, and even though check out time is 11 AM, we were allowed to stay until 2 PM on the last day. The people at the reception desk were also very very helpful with info about Budapest and everything else.
