Pros (+) I loved that the hotel was two blocks from Syntagma square - which is a main centre of town. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and it is walking distance from the Acropolis. The linens were generally clean and we had adequate lighting.
Cons (-) The room smelled like smokers had stayed there before us. Athens smells like that overall but I was hoping we'd have a hotel that would relieve us of the smell of cigarettes. We decided not to shower there as well because the shower head had calcium buildup on it and we didn't want to irritate our skin with the water.
