Pros: Location: Immediately adjacent to Westbahnhof, with airport bus just outside the front door. We arrived at the train station, walked to the hotel to spend the night, then caught the bus to the airport the next morning.
Cons: Thermostat (apparently centrally controlled) was set at very warm temperature and we had to open window for air. This was in January, with outside temp below freezing. But this seems common in Austria; all the hotels we stayed in were too toasty for comfort and with no air circulating.

Cons: Das Frühstück war in Ordnung (ok für den Preis). Mit den COVID Regeln macht es wenig spaß (Plastikhandschuhe und MNS Schutz). Man sollte meiner Meinung nach vom Buffetbetrieb weggehen und das Frühstück servieren.

Pros: The hotel was in a great location, close to the metro. The staff were very welcoming and explained everything to us. The room was large and comfortable. The food in the bar downstairs was delicious!

Pros: Room was very modern, though the toilet and sink are on separate sides of the room. There is an all glass shower, so make sure you only room with people who don't mind seeing you naked in the shower. Location was walk-able to many of the sites in Vienna as well as several convenient locations.

Pros: This is a comfortable and agreeable hotel with good facilities in a very central location close to all amenities, the historic centre and good public transport links. It is usually good value for money and services are of a high standard. I have stayed here on a number of occasions and dined or attended meetings during other visits to Vienna.
Cons: The wifi in this hotel is as bad as in so many other Vienna hotels. Free wifi is available, but requires a 12 digit/letter code and a separate code for phone, tablet, laptop etc. It only lasts twenty four hours so on a three day trip with three devices you are coding nine times. The signal has an annoying habit of cutting out. This is not a major complaint, but it should also not be a major issue for the hotel to resolve. Even in Vienna there are hotels which can offer simple, strong continuous wifi for multiple devices.

Pros: Great location and able to walk into center area from the hotel. Also on the U & S lines so easy to get to/from the train station. The hotel itself while undergoing renovations is delightful as the rooms have been renovated, walk in showers and good lighting. Also sparsely populated w go FB make for ease of relaxing; bed, two chairs a small table and the TV on a stand. I was in a corner room and had full windows on two sides which provided fantastic views of the city and great natural light. Breakfast provided many options; too many and easy to get full on something you find available.
Cons: Entrance on Mitte square open, but this will likely occur when renovations completed.

We also liked the easy, free parking, and only an 8-10 minute walk to a trolley station that drops you off at the Vienna Opera House/City Center. In Vienna, it is called the "ring"!
