Cons:Keeping in mind the new COVID 19 health guidelines, I was very surprised to see that the hotel was lacking hand sanitizer anywhere in the common areas. They only had 3 floors open, which we were not made aware of prior to booking. I requested a floor higher floor upon checking in around 4pm, I was told the rooms were not ready and was put on the 3rd floor overlooking the roof. The hotel did not seem full at all and after compiling for the cost of the hotel room and the room we were put in, I was moved to the 10th floor with a slightly better view. Definitely not worth $150 + tax per night. Also very disappointed in the customer service upon checking in. The front desk attendant was very short and not very accommodating. Which was very surprising considering everyone facing the financial hardship at this time.

Pros:Views of the water
Cons:Room was aged and in need of multiple upgraded. Shelving in closet was plywood that had been painters, visible splintering. Room did not have hot water when I arrived. Sink did not drain well. Bed had a literal indentation where people sleep- in need of replacement! AC controls were difficult to work, buttons broken and require multiple pushes for small changes.

Pros:Enjoyed the two restaurants in the hotel. Nice pool, but difficult to get to.
Cons:Lobby could have been designed better on the first floor and not on the second floor.

Pros:Beautiful hotel. The man at the front desk could not have been nicer. I couldn't find my contact solution and he actually offered to go to the drugstore and get some for me ! What a great feeling and generous act of kindness.

Pros:I absolutely love this hotel the few times a year I stay in it for business. Very comfortable beds, very clean hotel. Cool lobby area and bar, excellent club room. The breakfasts in the club room were actually the best Ive had at Marriott and the staff there was so nice. A gentleman was serving me early this morning and so helpful and cheerful. I will be back again. There was a huge convention and the place was spotless. The location is so nice because it's just across the bridge away from the craziness and construction but a 2 minute walk to the convention center. Also nice is starbucks is next door and so is American Social!

Pros:Loved how close the hotel is to all of downtown area including the channelside area , river walk, and ybor city. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff went above and beyond to Make my friends and me comfortable during our stay. Restaurant's breakfast was good and we loved that there were two great bars and restaurants we adjacent to the hotel.
Cons:The hotel is in the midst of a renovation so some areas were noticeably not finished. The doors in our rooms would stick a little and we had to yank to open and slam to close. Sorry neighbors. The yummy Starbucks coffee if our rooms seemed to big for the coffee maker and made a but of a mess. But still tasted good. The overnight valet required for our cars was more expensive than I expected . But I had an spg membership and got a great discount.

Pros:The room, kind size bed, view, and amenities were all great. But for me, the human capital was the best part. I stayed during the Florida Bar, easily the most stressful days of my life. I had two different employees go above and beyond to make my stay great. One saw the stressed look on my face, and gave me a free drink voucher for the hotel bar. The other, a front-desk employee, instead of making me wait for housekeeping to be available (they were extraordinarily busy), personally brought tea to my room when I mentioned I needed it to sleep. That quality of service is what made my stay great, and why I'll be staying with them again whenever I return to Tampa (hopefully not to re-take the bar).

Pros:The place was nice and weather was beautiful. Hotel room was spacious and clean. The view was wonderful and we didn't turn on the TV once because of the view and watching the cruise ships leave the harbor.

Pros:Clean with the usual Westin standard amenities.
Cons:The staff was mediocre at best, making you feel unimportant. This was a festival weekend but they allowed themselves to be lazy instead of working extra hard to please the customer. No attempt to accommodate room requests. Seemed like they hired temps from the holiday inn or something.
