Cons (-) Place was filthy. Dirt all over the carpet at entry, in elevator, and hallway carpet. Breakfast area was dirty and coffee was cold.Stains on bed cover and pillows had drool stains. Quite nasty.

Cons (-) Room and linengs were not clean. Rude staff. Wanted to charge me 100 for 1 hour late check out. Entered the room while my wife was dressing up
Pros (+) The breakfast attendant was extremely attentive and worked hard to ensure guests had what they needed.

For example, the hallways were in need of vacuuming (badly), carpets in the stairwells desperately needed cleaning, and the pool area was also in need of a deep clean. Pros (+) Price was very reasonable. Room was clean, fridge and microwave were an added bonus. The desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. There were some hot breakfast items, which was a nice change.
Cons (-) Pool area was overwhelmingly hot and humid (at night); coupled with the heavy chlorine smell it was difficult to breathe. Upstairs visitors were very easy to hear through the floor; it sounded like they were doing gymnastics.

Pros (+) The hotel was conveniently located outside Springfield. Cracker Barrel is right next door and within walking distance. A gas station is right across the highway from the hotel. We had no complaints.
Pros (+) Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lots of restaurants, etc. in the area to choose from. Right off of I55 - convenient if you're traveling that way.
Cons (-) The room was filthy! Dirty, used coffee straw was left on the bed. It had not been vacuumed and coins were left on the floor, presumably from previous guests. Holes in sheets. If traveling on I72, it is way out of the way.
