Cons (-) No air conditioning. Hot and too smoky for windows to be open. Even with wolindows open and all fans going it was very hot on main floor and loft. Not bearable during the day and until after dark. Dish washer was filthy when we checked in. Food dripped on top of and down door. Filter area was caked with food and debris. Pros (+) Good value for money but the cleaning was not up to scratch. I don't think the sheets on our bed had been changed. Hairs on the sheets when I have inspected before bed. There were hairs on the bathroom floor. Carpets were worn in areas. Bedding looked about 20 years old. Just felt a little yukky
Pros (+) The Condo was lovely and clean. The proximity to the sandy beach at Lake Tahoe and the South Shore casinos is excellent. Also, the grounds are beautiful with all of the lovely pine and redwood trees on the property. We had a wonderful relaxing visit, and I will definitely recommend Aston Lakeland Village to my friends
Cons (-) Condos located near Lake Tahoe Blvd are too noisy with the traffic close by. I had to request a different condo than the one originally assigned to us, and Aston was very gracious about moving us to a condo closer to the Lake.

Pros (+) The free shuttle was great- we never waited for more than 5 minutes for a ride. It was nice to have the continental breakfast as an option. Service was great and everyone was very friendly. Having a kitchen was great.
Cons (-) Room (especially the bathroom) was kind of cramped.

Cons (-) The AC unit did not cool the room properly. Had to get and extra fan. The room was a non smoking room but there were cigarette butts on the balcony and the worse part was when I turned my covers down on the bed and found a large black hairball in between the sheets
