Pros (+) Nice and accommodating staff.
Cons (-) Shower head broken and air conditioner barely functioning when I arrived. Staff fixed the shower but never bothered with the a/c. It was suggested I upgrade to a "premium " room for more money but I'm thinking even a standard room should have a/c. Also some thuggish looking weasels with mafia cars hanging around the tragically euro-disco bar. Very very 1980s.

Pros (+) They really tried on decorations in the lobby, some of their rooms, the garden was gorgeous, and the restaurant in the hotel was handy. We gave housekeepers at night some tips, they brought waters and bed side mats everyday. The location was good, not so busy but close to subway, good little market etc. We appreciated that some stuffs were very friendly.
Cons (-) We were disappointed that there were no spa tab with the pool. The renovation construction was going on, the beautiful deco wasn't made well, the housekeeping doesn't vacuum and don't leave all towels and toiletries, one of the expensive restaurant doesn't have good food nor service, the elevators were breaking, someone got stuck..Just not professionally executed.

Pros (+) - location - view - service This is not 5 star - it is in reality comparable to 3-4 star hotel. But still probably one of the best options to stay in Sofia.
Cons (-) -mattresses are old and springy. We were exhausted and slept well though.
