Cons (-) Amazing Staff, great facility!
Pros (+) Location on the edge of Nob Hill was great. Could totally walk to area restaurants & bars, and the bus stop out front for easy access to Pearl District & Downtown. Parking was free. Staff is friendly and the hotel was clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons (-) Agree with another poster who referred to the hotel as "tired". The mattresses in our room were not the best, but they weren't terrible either. Prices are higher than I would have expected, but hotel prices in Portland in general were higher than I expected (also hotel taxes -- what the heck, Portland?) -- and when the free parking is factored in, the Silver Cloud provided the best value.
Pros (+) A quiet location, big room, comfortable bed, giant 50 inch tv, great place, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Pros (+) Was just down to Portland on a short business trip. The convenience of the location is unbeatable. Lots of good restaurants nearby and easy drive from the airport, and easy public transportation access if using ( I didn't use this service, but did see bus stops).
