Upside: nice large screen TVs, despite the room being pretty small all the little things were well organized and efficient it was t a detriment The Bad: First room had an access panel that was hanging above the shower with a dirty tub. Second room the bed sagged quite a bit it was difficult for either of us to sleep. You had to validate your parking with the desk everything you went in and out

When we arrived at the Hilton, there was a sign that the hotel was closed and customers were relocated to a different hotel nearby. We trudged over there with all our luggage, only to be told that our reservation had been cancelled and they were fully booked. They showed us the email they received from the booking company claiming that we had refused the relocation and requested the cancellation. ...

Pros (+) Hotel is always wonderful.
Cons (-) Due to snow and ice storm I had to cancel. The hotel was fine with it. It was within their 24 hours. Unfortunately, the company I used on kayak stated I would have needed to cancel on the same date that I reserved!!!!! Are you kidding me? Don't reserve through them. They do not care what terms the hotel has.

Pros (+) The location of this hotel is very convenient for downtown activities and proximity to suggested things to do in Portland. The lobby and bar area are very nice. The work-out gym is also very good.
Cons (-) While the Hilton is very convenient, there are some problems with this hotel compared to other hotels in this class. While free parking is not included, there is pay-to-park available from the hotel, but the hotel charges twice as much as the parking garage that is just around the corner(price gouging is not okay.) Pros (+) The beds were very comfortable, clean space, (small) but functional bathroom. The gym was *great*, large and definitely had everything I needed to lift weights and do cardio, including a small room with mirrors. It's also very centrally located, and easy to bus to and from, which is one of the best aspects of the hotel.
Cons (-) I definitely didn't realize there was no complimentary breakfast, and they gave us two full beds instead of a single queen (which is what we reserved).
