Beautiful hotel. Exceptional staff. Very clean. Food was great. Location was central to parts of Manila we were visiting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Manila Hotel.

When you look at the pictures listed on their website you expect to arrive and see a little more. This should have been clarified better. The shower is directly over the toilet. Pros (+) I went to the dinner buffet, and it was literally the best one I've ever been to in my entire life. Additionally, although the hotel is a bit dated, it's classy and a very special place.
Cons (-) I didn't love being so far out of city center, so I left a night early. If you're looking for a staycation or want to be close to Intramuros, this is a fantastic place to be.
Pros (+) High quality and huge selection for breakfast buffet. Very experienced professional and well-trained staff. Beautifully updated spacious rooms. Lovely pool area for city hotel.
Cons (-) Nothing
Pros (+) Rooms and layout good.
Cons (-) Buffet lunch good, but very expensive.
Pros (+) The room was quite nice, and the staff helpful.
Cons (-) The breakfast buffet was expensive, so I went to their coffee shop. It took 30 minutes for the food to arrive.
Pros (+) Charming, gracious facilities steeped in history with all modern comforts.
Cons (-) Nothing
Pros (+) Lobby is impressive
Cons (-) Rooms in older section need updating.
Pros (+) The room at the tower good. Breakfast has lots of choices and good service too.

From the website, the room grade i select was suppose to be the newly renovated rooms with rain shower, marble bathroom counter, tv in bathroom and etc... But when i check in, i was assigned to a older room at the main building without all as described. I call the loddy and they told me that my room grade was not the newly renovated rooms, it is available...
