Pros (+) It was right at the entrance to Camp Lejeune Marine Base. I found the service at local businesses to be friendlier, the hotel room was in better shape, the hotel staff were extra friendly and helpful and I felt safer in general.
Cons (-) A few loud "contractors" staying at the hotel too and they were a little but rowdy but not overly so...

Cons (-) The door was broken and I had to almost kick it in to make it open. The room smelled like mildew. The sink ran the whole time I was there. I tried to shut it off and mess with the knob but it didn't matter. The TV had a horrible connection, bad enough to not even bother watching it.
