Pros (+) Like many similar hotels in Sultanahmet, the Sphendon is an old house (with roof top terrace) that has been remade into a hotel. The rooms are clean, with AC and high speed Wifi.
Cons (-) The rooms are very small, and the spiral stairs to get to the other floors are very narrow. The location though good, can be hard to find for taxis, so pay attention to the best routes. Walking to and from the hotel, however, is easy. Still, for the price, the Poem Hotel and the Artefes are better located with larger rooms.
