Pros: You can walk to the downtown area in about 10 minutes thru a nice neighborhood. The rooms are nice and large, and they do provide a fan should it be hot. Beds very comfy. Quiet location. They have a pool/spa area with sauna, odd jacuzzi that was a bit cool.

Pros: We stayed in a family room at the Kingsmill for 1 night in July with our 4-year old and mother-in-law. It was the perfect size with a large bed and 2 bunk beds. Bathroom also had a shower and bathtub, great for the little ones.

Pros: Craigmonie Hotel is the best hotel I have been to. The staff is fantastic, the restaurante is soperb and the facilities provide you with everything you need and more. Breakfast is also perfect! Its a fantastic deal and very cheap for the quality and in some aspects excellence that the Hotel offers. In particular want to thank the staff that was magnific but you cant expect less from scotish people! I recommend the hotel without any reserves.

Our room was uncomfortably hot, and although she was unable to move us the first night as there were no available rooms, she provided us with a fan and ice to help cool the room and a sheet to use rather than the duvet. The second night, she was able to move us to a much larger room on second floor which was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of choices. Since we traveled by train, the location of the hotel was very convenient.

The room was a good size, and the bed was huge as it was 2 single beds zipped together - fantastic. Had a cot in the room and there wasnt really room for it (it was jammed up between the side of the bed and the window) but was a good size room if it hadnt been there. Room and bathroom were clean. Decor not the most modern I have ever seen, but it was far from offensive. All in all - I would stay there again.
