Pros (+) We liked the location to The Finley Center. We were there for a volleyball Tournament, and will be back again in several weeks for another. The beds were very comfortable.
Cons (-) The lobby bar area was under construction, so I understand the area was a construction site. Also, there were several members in our group that had issues with the elevator noise in their rooms. They stated that there was a loud banging all night long.
Pros (+) Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, very pleasant staff.
Cons (-) The pool heater was "off line". My son could not swim. But the hot tub worked.
Pros (+) Hotel was quiet even though it was completely booked the night we stayed (the night of the Alabama/UK football game). The beds were extremely comfortable. Very friendly staff. Our room was very clean.
Cons (-) The cleanliness in other, common parts of the hotel (hallways, elevators, etc.) could have been cleaner. However, our room was extremely clean. In regards to the common areas being dirty, I should point out that the hotel was completely booked and that perhaps the staff just couldn't keep up that evening. I imagine it was cleaned after checkout Sunday morning.
