I loved the place- perfect location when visiting the Naval Academy. But I left 2 items hanging in the closet after I checked out because I was rushing to Easter service. I came back 4 hours later and asked them right away for them thinking it was no big deal. They only found my vest, not my favorite Nike sweatshirt. I really needed to rest but that was not going to happen 7:30 am. every morning house keeping having conversations n banging around in hall. I asked to please keep it down to no avail. Other than that very pleasant stay would recommend to others, but would hope that staff can address issue of keeping noise level down.

Pros (+) Loved the location!
Cons (-) Our door was old and kept sticking so we had to shoulder the thing open. Confusing were to park or the whole valet system. No breakfast at the marlyland inn.

Pros (+) The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable
Cons (-) Our sink repeatedly expelled gas and grime from the drain. We were in Room 318 of the Maryland Inn. It is a triangle, with the bathroom at the top point, and busy streets on two of the sides of the main room. The street noise was very loud from both sides which made it hard to relax or sleep. It took us 45 minutes to get our car from valet parking the first morning we were there.

Pros (+) My wife and I started at the Robert Johnson House for a weekend trip to Annapolis. The hotel was well located, and pretty nice. Overall, I liked the hotel. If I'm ever going to stay overnight in Annapolis again, I'll likely stay in one of the Historic Inns again.
Cons (-) The cable didn't get a good signal, though. After a day of walking, I wanted to relax and watch TV, but the picture and sound kept cutting out. Luckily I can watch Netflix in my phone.

Pros (+) Convenient location, lovely decor, comfortable beds.
Cons (-) Walls are thin; at 1am I had to turn on the A/C to muffle the noise from others. Couldn't find any staff when attempting to check out.

Pros (+) They provided cookies, hot cider and hot chocolate in the lobby for guests the first night I stayed, which was a nice surprise. The location was incredible to walk around the city and to the Naval Academy.
Cons (-) The closest parking was several blocks away, and with old brick sidewalks I couldn't roll my suitcase. I had to carry it. Plus, there weren't the cookies and cider the second night. I'm not sure why and I was kind of looking forward to them after the first night. The room and bathroom were very tiny, too much of the room was taken up by furniture. I had to turn sideways to get past the bed and dre...
