Pros (+) The location is perfect for convenience to attractions of Amsterdam and places to eat. Amsterdam overall is so walkable and from this base it is easy to just set out & explore the city. Cons (-) Rembrandtplein is a touristy neighborhood that attracts a late-night crowd that can be rowdy & raucous well into the wee hours. Good thing that the windows are pretty thick. However the interior walls of the hotel are not so thick and if you have noisy young neighbors (as I did for the first two nights of my four-night stay) you will hear every note of their music.
