Cons: "The food (fish and rice) was tasteless."
Cons: "The transfer in Manila was like nowhere else. After the security check we were sent outside where buses were driving to claim our checked-in luggage to take it for another check just to drop it one minute later. Anywhere in the world if you board a flight with a stop-over you see your luggage at the final destination, not the case if you fly trough Manila."

Cons: "The choice on the menu is not available, the bread was not given to us, because they run out, no apple juice because it run out too. Drinking water served, it is warm. They should offer some ice cubes or ask the passengers if they want ice... Other airlines, serves different juices through out the flight. Crew not communicating at all. Doesn't say anything or serve you with a smile."
Pros: "Flight was on time."
Cons: "Crew must smile and speak to passengers...poor body language. Waiting for our luggage in the conveyor and give to the guys for them to put a tag for transfer flight to London. If it is connecting flight, passenger should get their luggage in their final airport of destination. Causing delay, because we still have to queve in the immigration. Don't see the point in that."
Cons: "Check in at NAIA very slow with little information available, could not check in online 3 flights were boarding, same gate same 1 hour time period, confusing when Bangkok flight was boarding, boarding was also stopped due to a flight arrival Child in seat behind kicking/shaking my seat - no help"

Cons: "Door closed ten minutes ahead of schedule yet had to wait on stand nearly half an hour to push back due to airport congestion. Arrived in HKG late at a remote stand and had to use stairs and be bussed to the terminal. I missed the last HKIA Express train to HK"
Pros: "Check in counter ground staff was very helpful"
Cons: "Boarding gates have too many flights assigned to it making waiting area very crowded. Toilets are too far. Flight attendants could be more helpful to passengers with infants and small children."
Cons: "Smooth flight and friendly crews."
Pros: "The flight was underbooked so I had a row to myself. That always makes a happy flight."
Pros: "Aircraft spacious seats comfortable Crew very friendly and welcoming good movie selection"
Cons: "Cues at T2 massive to go through immigration zig zag around terminal Seats don’t adjust well and little leg room when flat. Food uninspiring. Tv fixed lots of reflections. Toilets small."
Pros: "Asked for window seat, said only have one at back of the plane, I said that’s fine, ended up with three seats to myself so got some sleep on an overnight flight. Gotta be happy with that,"
Cons: "Cabin crew had a tendency of not seeing me so I had to get their attention for the hand outs, no biggie"
Cons: "The lounge is awful."
Pros: "All good. New plane, pleasant staff, on timr"
Pros: "Birding was great. Punctual flight."
Cons: "My entertainment screen broke. It took the crew 7 hours to replace it. A crew member said they would sort it, bit nothing for 6.5 hours There appeared be confusing within the crew members about what food I ordered."
Pros: "Crew were polite and helpful Aircraft ? Great Bad. Awesome awful. All of those. I really was to say nice things as it’s just basics that were bad"
Cons: "Business lounge ? Ummm totally unacceptable. It’s a PAYG uncomfortable Un stocked unstaffed waste. Food Was extremely basic. If economy fine but business!!! Very poor"
Pros: "First let me say I am a big fan of Philippine airlines. The customer service is outstanding, I am always made to feel very comfortable and the movie selection is great. I would give them a 10/10...if it weren’t for the surprisingly below-average special meal selection....read on..."
Cons: "I have been a gluten-sensitive foodie for 7 years. I am not vegetarian. I still eat sugar, salt, spices, dairy, and fat. I have order a GF special meal for the past 3 or 4 trips I’ve flown but I always end up asking for one of the regular meals instead because the GF meals are SO awful. They are completely devoid of all salt, sauces, spices or any flavor, and are so bland that it’s like eating astronaut cardboard food. For example...the last flight I took (Manila-San Francisco), the regular meal options were a chicken sausage dish with some mashed potatoes and veggies, a wonderful colorful julienne vegetable salad, a flan pudding (GF by nature) and some bread with butter. The other option was a delicious smelling pork belly over rice (seriously some of the best pork belly I’ve ever had) and some veggies with the same sides. Everything was gluten-free except for the bread roll and looked much more colorful and fresher overall. By contrast, the GF “special” meal that I received was a plain chicken breast with no salt, steamed veggies that were overcooked and mushy to the point of colorless baby food, with no spices or sauces, a watered-down fruit salad, a rice cake with no butter and a banana instead of dessert. I was amazed at how bland and flavorless it was. Gluten-free does not mean sugar-free, low-fat, or dairy free. It simply means the absence of wheat flour. I still like sauces and spices. And I still like butter. A non-fruit dessert would have been nice. And since when does gluten-free mean flavor-free? I would have MUCH rather preferred the regular meal option with just a gluten-free rice cake substitute. Thank god they had extra regular meals for me to eat instead. Point being…if you’re not extreme celiac and just gluten-sensitive, I recommend ordering off the regular menu and just omitting the bread roll. The flavorless meal isn’t worth it!"
Pros: "The plane we use airbus 321"
Cons: "None so far so good , the only downside was we use stair in manila airport not the bridge which is connected to the airport building"
Pros: "On time, very good service, good food & wine and very comfortable. Plenty of space around the business class seat and easy access to and from seat. Large screen tv."
Cons: "Slightly limited entertainment . Mabuhay lounge at Manila's average."
Cons: "Seemed very crammed seat-wise. There was was no entertainment system system so one star is stretching it."
Pros: "Food was mostly very nice."
Cons: "The Manila transfer process was a waste of time. Why when only transferring through at the airport you must go to an insecure area to get a Manila stamp in your passport and then have to go back into the secure area via another security check."
Pros: "No direct contact details to change flight"
Cons: "Terrible customer service"
Pros: "There was some form of entertainment that they provided in the form of iPads so I didn't feel bored on the flight as I have trouble sleeping on flights. Because Dubai has an issue with transferring my bags, the airline did find and place my bag on the next flight"
Cons: "Some of the programs had audio only and no videos. The food on the flight was subpar at best, the breakfast meal had scrambled eggs that had no form at all. THEY WERE RUNNY EGGS AND HAD THE CONSISTENCY OF BABY FOOD. Dubai has a habit of not transferring my checked bag to my continuing flight. And Dubai placed me on the wrong bus upon arrival so I couldn't get my bag to transfer my bag"
Pros: "Clean toilets."
Cons: "The flight was terrible. The boarding process was improperly conducted causing a lack of overhead space in the baggage storage overhead. The entertainment system was broken and the flight transfer process was terrible and confusing. I had the worst trip in over 300 life time trips. I felt like the price was way too high for the service I received! I need a partial refund at a minimun. This flight was terrible for my 3 children and I."
Pros: "The crew were pleasant."
Cons: "The flight was terrible. The boarding process was improperly conducted causing a lack of overhead space in the baggage storage overhead. Cons: "Flight delays several hours. Its a very terrible flight. No apology from airlines company too."
Pros: "The salmon dish was however good and more than made up for it."
Cons: "Flight crews working at transfer desks were extremely unorganized and brought us to our terminal at the very last minute when the flight was calling for all passengers to board. Food was terrible. Ended up losing my baggage because they didn’t have enough time to put all the bags onto the flight and so I had to wait an extra two hours at the airport"
Pros: "Excellent crew, very attentive and polite. New/newly refurbished plane and very clean."
Cons: "I thought I read somewhere that Premium Economy had their own toilets but that didn't seem to be the case. The Mabuhay Lounge (for those with access) is in need of a renovation and can be hard to find seats."
Pros: "I liked that the lady at the front desk turned us away and we weren’t able to board our flight due to not having a passport that extended out six months to expiration."
Cons: "I did not like the fact that I booked my flights months in advance and would have done this adjustment with Our ample time and not one person informed us about our passports from kayak or Philippine Airlines. It was disgusting that I had to lose my flight and not even receive any kind of courtesy from them or you as far as even a partial refund or any kind of acknowledgement. We just booked other flights without your product. Terrible experience. i am just appalled at the kind of service kayak offers."
