The gym on the first floor is very nice. Breakfast and dinner buffet is amazing, we enjoyed it a lot.

Unfortunately, the pool wasn't working due to CNY holidays and nobody had told us about that in advance.

Hotel cleaners knocked our doors like every 20-30mins before noon, asking for cleaning, even we said we would go out around noon.

The pool and Spa area are very modern and enjoyable. Espacially as not many guests seem to make use of it. The location is very good if you have some business in the area or arrive/depart by train. If not, maybe consider a more central option.

The breakfast is overpriced, in case you did not include into the booking. Also, our main mirror was dirty on all three days of our stay.

The location was good as it was close to a metro station. The surrounding area was not trendy or upscale, but it wasn't run down...it is after all near the Shanghai Railway Station.

No complaints. If I had to give a reason it would be that the breakfast selection was the same for the 5 days that i stayed.

- very nice gym - the manager was very helpful with queries, especially when we wanted another room due to the construction noise around the hotel area - less than 3 mins walk to the metro station

- not very clean. We found hair on the bed and on a towel - quite noisy at night due to construction around the hotel area - the foremen were extremely unhelpful. They did not help with the luggage when we arrived at the hotel and not helped to get a cab (or bother asking how they could help when we were waiting for a cab at the front door). Instead they were just happily chatting and looking at their phones.

Functional and quite nice hotel. Stayed here before. Good that it's near the railway, subway, and many many restaurants and minimarts.

Nothing is the problem. Receptionists are quite cold, the travel desk personnel were much nicer and helpful

The room was small Safe locker number keys were not all working A couple of bolts were loose in the bathroom door The room was hotter than my liking and the temperature won't go any more down. I eventually had to keep the bathroom window open to adjust temperature.

Room was small Was not briefed about the available facilities My colleague's credit card was not accepted, whereas it was accepted in other Chinese hotels. The staff did not ask for PIN number which others asked and it worked.

Construction work around hotel all night, awfully loud if you face this direction, but staff gave me new room in opposite direction after having asked twice, so that was better, but still facing a large street then. No bar for enjoying a drink. Not really 5star level compared to other hotels in Shanghai

Breakfast is OK compare to restaurant in the neighborhood

Sound proofing is NOT good. I stayed up in floor 22, paid extra for that and requested a quiet room. The construction sounds from the street level woke me up around 23:00 and last until 3-4am, sound like thunderstorms. Every night I stayed, I suffered that sounds.

Location is great - beside the railway station, though quite calm place. One receptionist lady speaking proper English, which was a nice experience, in general staff was quite distant-keeping. Breakfast was various with wide range and great coffee. Money changing machine in the lobby is useful.

Room was a bit rundown (furniture, tapestry) - a proper renovation would give back its prior charm. Rooms are not spacious enough for a multiple day tourist stay. Spa area is quite basic.

Rooms are clean. Gym and pool are very good. Location of hotel is good as well. Food is not bad if you are non vegetarian, but variety is less.

Bed is too soft. Lobby is very small. Restaurant near the lobby has eaten all the place.

The location is very near the train station and subway line, so it's convenient for travel around China and Shanghai. There's decent restaurants in the area too.

Our room used to be a smoking room just by the smell. There was some minor spots in the bathroom that didn't look cleaned up. Also, the lobby has two check-in stations which was a little confusing. We would wait in one section to be told to go to another area after our wait.

The property is next to shanghai train station and near to lots of food joints.Rooms are very clean.

Rooms are small and breakfast is just ok. Continental food is also not very different in flavor than Chinese. Less variety in breakfast.

The concierge set a taxi for us to take us to the airport and made us pay in advance 300 rmb, which is way too expensive as I have found out afterwards! And we could not even get a receipt from our trip! Really annoying when you trust your hotel and they take advantage if you...

Service did not feel like a Pullman Hotel; less friendly and helpful staff.

That we were told that our breakfast was included but when we went to finalize the bill we were told that there was only one breakfast included How can one book a room for two yet only one breakfast supplied very disappointing. The message on booking is all wrong

It was too loud, windows are not sealed good enough and car honks or people talking can be heard in the room.

maybe due to busy period, I have to wait an hour for room preparation before check in although it was close to 2pm already besides, bath towel has a bit of aq steril smell john's room next to the lobby at ground floor needs your room card for using while lady's room is free, bit weird

The hotel was very modern with spacious and well decorated room. It is located in a very well connected area with all the essentials just minutes away

The check out experience was not as pleasant as we were charged for a phone call we did not make and it was very unorganized. People continued to cut the line

All located, adjacent to metro line 1 exit. Good facilities, what youd expect from a hotel chain like this. Would suit a business traveller or someone arriving fro. Shanghai railway station.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom well appointed and clean. Breakfast was really good.

The breakfast could have a little larger selection. Like smoked salmon and grilled herring. And a selection of cheeses. And more selection of fruit juice. Especially in June should have had yangmei juice.

Bed was great, large and comfortable. Concierge helpful with train ticket top Wuxi.
