Overview
whala!bavaro is a luxury resort located on Playa Bavaro in Punta Cana, offering direct access to the beautiful 50 km-long sandy beach. The resort grounds feature landscaped gardens and terraces with a number of colorful buildings dotting the property. There are five beautiful pools at this resort, including a children’s pool, all surrounded by sun decks and terraces with loungers. There is an infinity pool at the Sky Bar for stunning views of the water. This all-inclusive hotel includes buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and snacks throughout the day for guests.
There are 263 rooms and suites available at whala!bavaro, including many that offer sea views. Guests can choose from double, superior, or economy rooms, or upgrade to double sea view and pool view rooms located near the resort’s beach area. All rooms include flat-screen TVs with premium channels, in-room coffee and tea service, tile floors, a private balcony or terrace, and a private bathroom with deluxe amenities and modern furnishings. Rooms also include a refrigerator and rainfall showers. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the resort.
There are two pool bars, including one that serves snacks. The Sky Bar restaurant serves a la carte Japanese cuisine and is not included in all-inclusive services. Pros (+) I love the place in the moment I was there. Ernesto is an awesome employee and is kind, helpful and really hard worked. Love my suit and the pool
Cons (-) The only thing I didn't like was that the beach was not that good. But after that everything was perfect.
Pros (+) i did not like it at all, poor service, costumer service is terrible, housekeeping i think they are not making enough money, so that's why they really don't care about their job. i was expecting dominican republic food on the menu. conclusion, I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS RESORT EVER AGAIN. It is too expensive for what they offer.

Cons (-) The smell in one particular area on the way to pool three. It looked the sewage system needed to be looked at. Pool 3 side walls were not clean. The location and price were very good and I as decided not to use the facilities as much I turned a blind eye on most of the services.
Cons (-) While I was boarding my flight to the Dominican Republic I got a call telling me my reservation was cancelled because the hotel was over booked. I was homeless in a foreign country and it was terrifying. I did eventually get alternate accomadations but it was basically the worst hotel ever.
